Made one purchase recently and will not make another!! I made the mistake of outright purchasing items and overpaying without shopping around due to needing the items quickly, and Mega hobby being the closest to my home. Don't make the same mistake that I did!! Out of curiosity I went to the site to see what a 1/24 model car kit that I had been looking for would cost shipped to me versus buying it from Ebay. Mega Hobby's total shipped to me would have been $110.11, purchased off of Ebay I got it for $55.98 shipped. Absolutely insane!! And on top of that had I spent $5.51 more Mega would have given me free shipping, OH JOY!! They need to really go back to the drawing board in terms of having competitive pricing because they are getting blown out of the water, not just by Ebay, but by many other online...

I’m an overseas 🇸🇬 buyer and it’s a pity I couldn’t be at the physical store itself. Nevertheless, it was a seamless purchase experience for me despite being 1000s of kilometres away. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

I left a pending email for an outta stock item that I wanted. When the stock came in, I got an email 📧 to a link, click on it, bought it, and had it shipped to a forwarding company that then re-route it to my country.

Packaging 📦 was perfect, shipping ✈️ was fast, (tracking details was forwarded to me when it was shipped) item arrived at my home 🏡 flawlessly.

I couldn’t be happier with the whole overseas purchase experience. So if you are like me planning to buy from them, I say go for it!...

There is a huge scam on Facebook these days. Fake ads are all over the place, offering impossibly good deals on things and pretending to be MegaHobby. I called the real MegaHobby and discovered the scam. They were helpful and friendly. I used to drive an 18-wheeler around the country, and I had the pleasure of once visiting this store. It was amazing. The selection of stuff they had was mind blowing. They have stuff you just can't find anymore or anywhere else. I will shop their website fairly regularly in the future.
