Englishtown flea market from a sellers view ......
I would say englishtown is a good spot to make a few bucks you're not going to come out of there a millionaire but if you have some odds and ends that you want to sell then this is the place to go they have a great vending fee of only $13 for one table which is good because it saves you the space to bring more inventory by not having to bring a table and if you want you can get two tables for $26 which is very cheap nowadays based on other flea market selling fee the upside of englishtown is you can make money but you have to know what to bring keep in mind that the majority of people shopping there early in the morning are resellers so they are looking for the steepest discount other than that your sales will be slow I would suggest getting there at 8am to maximize your money because that's when most of the resellers are out there and if you do have item that you want to get rid of quickly come at that time just make sure you know the price of your item before you sell it the resellers come there for one purpose only to resell your item at a 50 to 80% profit so if you're looking for money and you come there just trying to get rid of your stuff and not know the market value of your items you can be left really disappointed because the resellers they're smart they come there every weekend they look for new vendors who do not know what they're selling and they look to upsell your items sometimes they will even upsell your items right across from you or they go online or take to there store there's a lot of resellers who come to this place from New York they try to dress down and blend in and a lot of professional reseller so once again know what your item cost before you bring it other than that they really only want items that make them look nice the customers are really really cheap customers and spoiled by everyone giving unnecessary low prices so if you have high end items do not come to this Market only come if you are selling cheap items. The Mexicans will be the majority of your customers they are pretty friendly and family or orientated they do not haggle with pricing on average, the Chinese are really cheap they will haggle but not to much but they will pay a higher price for designer items, the Africans are your worst customers if you price for 5 they want for two if you price at a dollar they want for a quarter do not budge with them. The white men are cheap and will steal faster than any race there keep your eye open on them they only buy want they can resell and will not budge. Black women and white women are the same buyers they only get what they need slightly cheap as well. hopefully this...

I went to this venue with the simple intention of selling sealed cans of water and bottles of Electrolit for $1 each nothing more. About an hour in, management approached me under the guise of a routine check, asking to see my pass. I politely showed them my proof of payment for a daily vendor pass. That’s when the nonsense started.
The manager informed me that daily pass holders aren’t allowed to sell food or beverages, despite the fact that the website only specifies food requires approval nothing about beverages. He then pointed to some fine print at the bottom of my receipt, claiming it prohibits beverage sales.
Here’s where it gets interesting: suddenly, I’m told that if I purchase a monthly pass, they might approve me, but I’d also need approval from the township. As someone with 15 years in the food and beverage industry across the U.S., I can confidently say I’ve never needed township approval to sell sealed bottled water inside a regulated venue nor have I ever been required to get health department clearance for that.
After complying with their absurd policies and taking a moment to reflect, it was clear: they wanted me to fork over $200 for a monthly pass instead of my $30 daily fee. On top of that, I could sense their issue with my price point $1 per bottle seriously undercut their gouging vendors.
Bottom line: Steer clear of this place unless you’re prepared to get strong-armed into overpriced permits and bullied for offering fair prices. Total...
Read moreYou used to be able to go here and show up and get a table at 13 bucks a table. Now you have to reserve a spot in advance for $40 bucks. It's not like we just went thru 3yrs of hell that now they want to profit off ppl's hardship. Many ppl lost their homes, jobs and even loved ones. 90% of the ppl that do flea-markets go there to make extra money becuz they need it. Now u have Englishtown benefiting off of others. They raised their prices so high it's ridiculous and it's not like they did any renovations to their property. When it rains the ground is muddy. The property looks dirty. Garbage everywhere. Tables are half the size then from other markets. Most of broken and falling apart. It's gross. Whats even more frustrating is there are those ppl that show up and rob vendors. There's more thief at this market then there is anywhere else. Dont bother going here. There are other markets that are even better. Columbus market didnt up their prices. You get 2 huge tables. Their open on Thurs, Sat and Sun. The traffic is awesome. I've made more there in one day then I have ever made in...
