Gordon's Corner Liquor — Local services in Manalapan Township

Went in to grab a six pack, and saw a sign posted on a clear fridge door advertising the row as $9.99. There were no other prices listed on any of the rows in that section, so I figured that was the price. When it came out to $15, I had no problem with that but after I had paid, I asked if they could clarify which pack the sign applied to know so I might know for next time. The owners proceeded to stall for the next 5 minutes trying to get me to give up, telling me inconsistent answers ranging from "I don't know it's not anything we have" to "a random customer put up that sign, not us". I finally gave up and wished them a good day as I left, to which I received a glare and no response back as I walked out as a paying customer. At least now I know for next time I need to grab something that I will not be returning...

I had a friend with an expired ID go in with me to buy a 6-pack of beer we ,were both over the age, but his ID was expired. The man behind the register denied selling me alcohol even though I had a valid ID and was over the age because someone who walked in with me had an expired ID. I left without an issue then returned by myself to just buy a 6-pack. The man behind the register looked at me scoffed and told me to get out. I am never coming back here again and I am going to make sure none of my friends and family ever give this place business. The Vingo on the other side of route 9 is smaller and still has a better selection just go there. You won't have to deal with rude cashiers who enjoy losing...

This is a great liquor store !!! A large selection and very fair pricing!!! They are always eager to help from the minute you walk in. They even will reserve kegs in advance and ice as well. In the hotter day finding ice can be tough so I ask to put a keg and 10 lg bags of ice on reserve and they accommodated me 100!!!!
