I am the proud sister and law of the owners Joe and Margaret! They have worked so hard and sacrificed so much to see their dream (this gym) become a reality. They are two of the hardest workers I know. And they are both people who are always looking for new ways to better themselves and their gym. I can assure you they will never stop working hard for this brand and their members! Their gym motto is "Strength is for everyone." They want everyone to feel welcomed and to have the opportunity to become strong, healthy, and confident. Ive been a long time fan of the gym, and I finally had the opportunity to visit the gym over Christmas. This gym is everything a gym should be :). It has all the essential equipment for strength based workouts. They invested in great bars, with many good designated areas to deadlift, and 8 areas to squat! (no waiting for a rack!) With lots of friendly faces willing to offer a spot! Not to mention a bomb playlist. While being strength focused the gym offers plenty of versatility for people with all kinds of fitness goals and preferences! Margaret and Joe are very strong and knowledgeable. They are happy to share any information and tips with their members. They also have many strong and talented people who also are happy to share their knowledge. Its rare to find a place that offers such good free advice and education for their members! It has been awesome to watch their dream turn into a reality. They have created a community of people who support each other to...
Read moreA friend invited me to his gym so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try this place out as I've always wanted to check this place out. My experience here has been pretty positive from my visit.
The Gym/Equipment: The gym itself is decently sized. It's not a huge space like commercial gyms, but smaller with just enough machines/equipment for everybody to use. Being that it is a strength gym, there are plenty of powerlifting equipment to use. Plenty of barbells, deadlifts platforms, comp. bench's and squat racks. And, they have plenty of accessory machines as well. Overall, this gym has plenty of equipment to go around and nice quality selections to choose from. The gym was well kept and clean as well.
The Environment/Staff: Upon entering the gym, I was greeted by the staff and they were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They gave me the tour of the space and I can tell from how everyone was interacting with each other, it was a tight-knit community. Seemed like almost everyone knew each other and it mad the whole environment feel very welcoming. The overall atmosphere was very cool, from the people to the great music selection. It was a fun experience.
Overall, a 5/5. Highly recommend checking Unleash'd out! You won't be disappointed. I know I'll be back when I'm in...
Read moreI have been a member at Unleash’d Strength now for going on 4 months. If you are someone (like me) who has anxieties about going to the gym: worried you wont know what you are doing, that you are being judged, that people are looking at you, the overly intimidating guys that hog equipment, etc ... let me put those fears to bed for you. Unleash’d is more than a gym, its a supportive community of people trying to better themselves, as their motto goes “strength is for everyone.” The owners (Joe and Margo) are terrific; they are altruistic and genuinely care about their patrons, from the minute you walk in, you are greeted with a warm smile, and they are invested in the success of your fitness goals no matter how big or small. They foster community and support, they don’t pressure anyone to buy anything, and they are always receptive to feedback because they are committed to making the environment into something everyone can enjoy. These guys are the real deal, they are humble, and easy to talk to. Whatever your fitness goals are, this gym will help you get there, and you will feel right at home while on...
