About a year ago, I brought Shane two 50 year old Pavoni machines, a Professional and a Europiccola, both needing extensive repair and parts. Shane had been recommended to me by Pavoni in New York city, after they expressed doubts whether the machines could be repaired. Well, I'm pleased to report that both machines were repaired by Mask-Et for a reasonable cost and after about 450 espressos later the machines continue to function as new. Read moreWe have a 25 year-old La Pavoni Professional (Pre-Millenium, of course) that has been well maintained by some of the best in the business (for example, Chris Cara @ Thomas Cara in SF). It was time for a tune up (fresh gaskets, etc) and we took it to Mask-Et as it had good reviews and was closed (~ hour) from our house.
Shane did a fabulous job. Machine works as good, if not better, than ever. With a good grind (Rancilio Rocky) it makes a great espresso with copious crema.
