Dont go here any other pizza place is better! Went here for the lunch special that was advertised on their own website. Called ahead and placed the order for the lunch special after arriving they want me to pay $12 I said the price on the website said $5 for the lunch special. The cashier smirks and says "the website hasn't been updated for 5 years" appalled by his response I replied that it's not my problem that they dont update their website. Cashier guy says its Google's website we dont have the ability to update it and says its $12 for the order. It's not Google's website its Al Bacios website........ the experience here was unacceptable not having an updated website is no excuse to treat customers poorly. I ordered pizza 1 year ago and it was very poor quality..... Wanting to give the place another chance I gave the lunch special a shot and boy did I learn my lesson. Do yourself a favor and never go to this place find another! attached is the picture of the lunch special on the website.

The best pizza shop around! Sicilian is delicious. Subs are bomb. Rolls and dough always taste fresh. Tons of different options and apps. The food is always great, and their customer service is fantastic as well. We recently called an order in for pickup and amazingly they realized they accidentally forgot a topping on half of our pizza. They offered to make a new pizza, add it or keep it the way it was. We just had them add it on the cheese side. Then they proceeded to give us a free pizza for the trouble. You don’t get service like that anymore. Usually we end up already home when we realize there was an issue and someone in the family ends up with something messed up but not here. Also the house salad was presented beautifully. Salami roses with little ham and cheese pinwheels. So pretty!

The food here was good. I would come back. To me, this is an on-par and basic pizza place. I like Sal’s pizza in Dover better though. But this place is ok. Also, the cheese fries had melted cheese on them. Not cheese sauce. They were good but not amazing and great.

I just want to start by saying that I like the food at Al Bacio. I’ve eaten the pizzas, subs, and appetizers and have enjoyed the food. My rating here is based more on service. My husband and I order here fairly regularly. The last time, I made a mistake when ordering online. I ordered a white pizza thinking it had no meat. Totally my fault. The website and menu clearly state it has ham. I meant to order the white pizza with tomatoes but was not paying enough attention. Again, MY FAULT. My husband picked up the order and as a vegetarian, assumed I had ordered the vegetarian white pizza. So, when he saw the pizza had ham, he questioned the employee. They informed him that this was the white pizza, which had been ordered. Here is the issue—they did it in a condescending way—as if my husband couldn’t, or didn’t bother to read the menu. *My husband was not trying to get a free pizza or refunded. He accepted and said he didn’t realize and that his wife would eat it. But, the two employees (an older and younger male) acted annoyed and condescending—throwing a menu on the order bc obviously, we don’t read. I like the food. I will say right now—the owner was not involved. However, the food in my opinion has been comparable to Marco’s. Al Bacio is simply close and more convenient. This left a bad taste in my husband’s mouth. Customer service is important to us both (both of us have worked in the service industry). We will explicitly go out of the way for Marco’s. Also: lesson learned—online ordering is awesome! However, I always tip as part of my order. I won’t do this again since you can get poor service while already giving away a tip. A simple and polite— “our white pizza comes with ham, would you like to add something else to your order?” Would have...

We were told our pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. I got there in 20 minutes, paid for the order and was told it wasn't ready yet. They were busy, so I understood and thought it would be a few more minutes. However, after 20 more minutes, they still didn't call me. So I checked on it and was told they were busy and they would let me know. 5 minutes later, someone came out and asked me my name and what did I order. I told them again. Then, they handed me my pizza ....it had been there since i walked in the door. it was barely hot. The counter person asked me if there was a problem when I opened the lid, so I told her it was barely warm since it had been sitting there for over 25 minutes. She said, "let me see what I can do." But, it was already 30 minutes past the original time they told me it would be ready, and I was running late bc of having the extensive waiting time, so I left. After heating it up once we got home, it's not great. Last time we order from there. Their food isn't cheap, so save your money and...

New to the area and saw the great reviews online as York’s Best pizza . Ordered this past weekend and was disappointed. Ordered through Carryout Courier and it took almost 2 hours to get our order. After an hours and half I contacted the delivery service for an update on my order. Was told the driver was at the restaurant and had been waiting for 40 minutes to get our order to deliver. We ordered a large pizza and wings. We finally got our order 20 minutes after I called , the driver (from Carryout Courier ) apologized and explained that he picks up and delivers orders from Pizza Al Bacio often and they always take forever to make the orders. I was a little worried that our food would be cold but was happy that is wasn’t. After all that wait I was disappointed because the pizza was not that great . Mediocre pizza and wings at best! I could of gotten better pizza from any other place and spent less money! Aside from paying for the delivery a pizza and wings cost $40. I do not think the food is worth the wait...
