Equinox Valley Nursery — Local services in Manchester

I have been visiting Equinox Nursery for my Christmas tree and poinsettias for over 12 years and this year will be the absolute last! We had an unfortunate experience last year as the tree we had picked out was subsequently loaded onto another man's vehicle who quickly proceeded to drive away...how he knew the price or paid I don't know since we had taken the tag into the staff and already paid for the same tree. This year we came earlier to tag a tree and pick up the next day. When my husband arrived Saturday morning and looked for the tree with our last name in the area where he was told to go he was rudely questioned and told " we don't need anybody steeling out trees". He explained the direction we were given, and offered to show our receipt. NO apology was offered , he was still treated rudely after that and it was as if your staff miscommunication was somehow his fault. I would expect a higher level of service given your prices and clients! We live and work local and have for many years, it saddens me that we can't...

We loved this nursery and hope to come back again. It’s quite big and spacious, with different greenhouses and grow areas dedicated to annuals, perennials, culinary, and shrubs and small trees.

We mostly came for perennials and came away with a great selection of black eyed Susan, coneflower, foxglove, cold hardy lavender, garden phlox, coreopsis, and the crowd pleasers hydrangea, azalea, and non invasive butterfly bush.

While we didn’t buy annuals, they had a huge selection of petunias, geraniums, and others. They also had a meaningful selection of roses and peonies actually in bloom.

The building inside had a ton of gardening supplies from fertilizers to tools and indoor garden pants, and some beautifully locally made large format planting pottery.
