We regret to say our experience with Arnold’s Gymnastics was deeply disappointing. Over time it has become clear that the poor communication, unwelcoming staff behavior, and lack of transparency are not isolated incidents, but part of a larger, systemic problem.
From the outset, the environment felt cold and uninviting. Staff seemed disinterested, dismissive, and failed to engage us with any warmth or professionalism, even as parents trying to support our daughter. We persisted only because our daughter absolutely loved gymnastics and didn’t want to quit something she enjoyed. But that goodwill was met with procedural indifference, not encouragement or partnership.
What’s worse: when her class placement was changed without warning, we were never given direct feedback or explanation. We had no idea when she was being evaluated for promotion or told where she fell short. We had to dig for answers ourselves. Then the response we received was defensive, shifting blame onto us for not “following up” on decisions we were never informed about.
We’re not alone. Other reviewers have also called out the lack of responsiveness and poor care. In Google reviews, we found multiple complaints about management ignoring parent concerns, failing to return calls, and leaving students feeling lost and unheard.
That’s not the kind of basic care one expects when entrusting a child to a gym. The fact that these criticisms appear publicly suggests we are far from alone in this frustration.
If you want a gymnastics program where staff proactively communicate, partner with families, and foster a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this gym is not it. We will not be returning, and we truly hope other families heed this warning...
Read moreMy kids have been enrolled at Arnold’s for the last few years and we’ve been thrilled with the experience. The instructors are wonderful; they really make an effort to connect with the kids and always ensure to provide individualized instruction in a group setting. What I really appreciate at Arnold’s, though, is the consideration that goes in to student placement — from a growth aspect as well as safety. The facilities are well taken care of and are always decorated for holidays and special events. The best part might be The Really Big Show at the end of the year — the effort and care that goes into this for the kids is INCREDIBLE. We also had my daughter’s birthday party here in December and couldn’t say enough positive things about it, the instructors were thrilled to be there and we really couldn’t beat the price. Anyway, 10/10 for Arnold’s and the wonderful community...
Read moreI can not say enough about Arnold's! They are a small family run business and the 2 sisters who own Arnold's are phenomenal. The coaching staff is kind, caring, dedicated and knowledgeable. My 12 year old is a competitive gymnasts and has been at Arnold's since she was 6. She deals with some mental toughness issues, as many competitive gymnasts do, and the coaching staff is always there to help and create new ways to approach things for her. I also bring my niece to their rec classes and she loves it. She's learned focus, listening and many gymnastics skills here. Arnold's is...
