Pikla Pickleball — Local services in Mansfield

There is nothing more frustrating in open play pickleball than the waiting process, aka the paddle que on pickleball courts. When the courts are free public courts it’s a nuisance, but when you have paid $10 to play for two hours and there is no logic or coordination in the process, it makes me not want to return. Pikla has that problem. The six courts are separated with three on one side and three on the other side of a walkway. In that walkway are paddle racks, but the establishment doesn’t control, monitor, or even have any signage to designate how a wait system is supposed to work. The signs they do have say “advanced, intermediate/advanced, and beginner.” Since nothing else is posted, players just do what they want. Players just stay on courts assuming one paddle rack is for one side and the other paddle rack is for the other side. When the lone employee is asked for assistance, she says to control it yourself. This is not the solution, and will keep me from returning. Pikla needs to fix this. I hope the owner reads this, as going there the other evening was not the experience I want to pay to play.l

We just had a birthday party at Pikla. This place is great. We were able to get 3 courts for 2 hours. They are reasonable with the birthday pricing. Absolutely love this place.
