Have you heard of Rico’s Plant Farm? It's this cozy little nursery tucked away in Mansfield off FM 1187. You might drive past it without even noticing because it doesn’t have a flashy front or a huge sign screaming for attention. But let me tell you, it's a hidden gem worth discovering. Step inside and you'll find yourself surrounded by a lush green paradise. There's a covered section dedicated to indoor plants, while outside, you'll be greeted by a delightful array of trees, shrubs, and flowers, each carefully selected to bring life to your garden. What sets Rico’s apart is their incredible variety. They've got more options than those big gardening centers, trust me. Just take a peek at the photos I've attached to my review and you'll see what I mean. And let's talk about prices. They're competitive, which explains why there's always a steady stream of customers. But here's the thing – if you're willing to take your time, you'll be rewarded with not just great plants, but also top-notch advice from the staff. Seriously, these folks know their stuff. Their knowledge of plant growth patterns, sun/shade requirements, temperature ranges – it's seriously impressive. You won't find this level of expertise at your average garden center, that's for sure. So, if you're on the hunt for quality plants at reasonable prices, along with some expert guidance to boot, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Rico’s Plant Farm. Trust me, you won't regret it.

One of my absolute favorite places to go!! I look forward to spring time to go and walk through all the different green houses. it’s like being at an arboretum!! There is one particular super sweet little lady that helps me every year. I think she runs the place. She’s extremely knowledgeable, tells me what works best in the shade, what needs full sun, tells me which needs more water and doesn’t.(She’s my new BFF, and she doesn’t even know it) LoL !! It’s a hidden jewel, and now I refuse to go anywhere else! Here are some photos of annuals from last year. All purchased from Rico‘s!!

First time here, just riding by and had to stop. Bought two young elephant ears, Swedish Ivy and Pothos Ivy.. Very helpful Lady answered all my questions. Will be back again to buy some more house plants, fruit and veggie plants!

BUYER BeWARE!! I bought over $500 worth of plants. One 4 inch mint plant was dead in 2 days. They wouldn’t take it back saying I didn’t water it. When I said I did just like the dozens of others, she said they only deal with honest customers. She was so condescending and rude. I will never be back. I am not a liar. A plant that dies within 2 days of purchase needed more than just water. I will never shop...
