Personally I love going to Home Depot and, for the most part, my experience has been similar at any of the locations I've been to. Overall I would not hesitate to give them all 5 stars. I've never had any problems either finding what I needed or finding someone to help me. Unfortunately, I did rate this location 4 stars only because I went there to find a particular item. I reviewed the Home Depot app for that location to confirm they had the item in stock and to know it's location within the store ahead of time. The app stated the item was in section OS bin 2 if memory serves. I figured that meant it was outside. I wandered around outside for a few minutes then finally had to ask an associate. She was very nice and accommodating but unfortunately had no idea where section OS was and even knowing what the item was still was not able to direct me. I ended up walking completely to the other side of the store which isn't a big deal unless you're disabled and every unnecessary step reduces what you might have been able to accomplish that day, to no avail. Since we were parked near the exit that was closest to the outside garden section we had to walk that way again so I did ask an associate cashier on the way back. She pulled another associate over who knew exactly where to find the item. She walked me back to the outside garden section and then asked another associate who finally got me where I needed to be. It was about 10 yards from where I had been initially...LOL! The elusive section OS BIN 2 however, remains a mystery to all involved 🙀🤔👽. Other than the additional walking and added time spent at the store everyone was very helpful when asked and if I could have given 4½ or 4¾ stars that would have been a more...
Read moreI tend to find the products I need easily, the aisle are clearly labeled, and most of the employees are friendly and dint mind assisting when asked. However, on my most recent visit, I found the item I needed but needed an employees assistance to retrieve the item so I could pay for it. One lady walked by the aisle, gave a smile, and gave the impression she was willing to help if needed. Since I was still confirming which items I was going to purchase and how much, I smiled back and continued looking. Once I was ready for assistance, i looked over for the employee I saw sitting closest to my aisle. He had switched seats. He was now positioned in the chair farthest from the aisle just out of my line of sight if I hadn't come out the aisle to walk over to him. He had a look of slight surprise as if he hadn't expected me to have walked over to the cubicle. × When told him what I needed help with, he seed to have radioed for someone. But, it seemed like the request didn't go far. But, I walked back to the aisle and waited a few moments. The store didn't appear to be too busy, so I expected someone a couple of minutes. Noone. Lo and behold, the lady who had walked by earlier was on her way back to wherever and looked over at me and immediately started walking way and asked if I needed help. I explained what I needed and she proceeded to get it. She had to walk over to the cubicle for a tool. The man who sat there and supposedly asked for help jumped in and took over assisting me. Not sure why he didn't just do that in the first place. Once he finished assisting, I made my way to the front and paid for my purchase. The cashier who rang up my purchase was...
Read moreI find Home Depot as well as Lowes to be a great source of the materials I need. I am in process of finishing my basement and have spent upwards of about $25,000 with home depot in the last 4 months. On a Sunday afternoon in May I went to Home Depot with my 3 daughters age 12, 9, and 5 and as I went to the register to check out, the lady at the register wanted me to apply for a Home Depot card. I told her I already had one but did not have it with me. She insisted I apply for another and wanted my info. She asked for my License even though I had already told her I did not wish to have a second card. I gave her my license and she proceeded to take a photo of it with her personal phone. I demanded my license back and she said it was a security measure to ensure I am who I say I am. Racial profiling at it's best. I paid for my merchandise and she then proceeded to follow me out of the store to my car to explain herself to me. I reached out to the manager and got no response. I asked for a call back and to date have heard nothing from him. I understand the demographics of the Mantua area and will avoid doing business at this location as much as I...
