Absolutely incredible experience. Matt our cowboy that took us for our tour was very professional courteous and literally showed us the ropes and took us through some of the most beautiful horseback riding scenery that you could see in the world a big thanks to you Matt and for taking care of my daughter who is very nervous about riding for the first time by herself I should also mention that the stables and the area in lajitas equestrian center was definitely one of the cleanest equestrian centers I've ever seen a big Thank you, to you Matt keep up the great work I'll see you guys next year . And if you're thinking about the horseback ride I highly recommend it we did the evening starting at 7:30 and even though it was hot Matt took us through some shaded area of the mountains so we didn't even break a sweat the whole hour and a half that we were riding. Amazing experience with Garrett and John. We had a beautiful trail ride with the most relaxed horses, two cute pups joined and were so friendly and made sure no critters got us 😏 10/10 definitely coming back. We did the tactical shooting as well, so fun! Next time we’re going to do the cowboy shoot package (it looks like a movie scene from tombstone). They were so accommodating and friendly.Every time we come to Lajitas, we are astonished how nice and chill everyone is. If you want the full Texan experience.. don’t even hesitate. I booked a 5 mile trail ride with my college aged kids and a couple of their friends. Our trail ride with Jaren was the highlight of our trip. She had such a profound connection to the land and was so knowledgeable about the desert, plants, and history of the area. It was just the 5 of us on our ride and she made connections with all of the kids and shared several stories about her family’s history on the land. The kids talked about her the rest of the trip and said she was as one of the best things about our trip to Big Bend....
