After checking in to the RV park, we decided to eat here. Reviews were decent. We have our 13 year old dog with us so we have to sit at certain tables outside, that are "self-serve." Had to go in and leave my CC at the bar. Even though we're guests at the resort. The guys behind the bar were not super friendly nor were they welcoming. I had questions since it was our first time, which I told him. He didnt say thanks for coming in or even bother to ask where we were from. Ordered the chicken fajitas and the chicken fried steak. Traveling internationally for work, I've made Terlingua my home base........so, discovering this place was a solid win. The drink selection is the best in West Texas. All of the food was perfect the first time. If you enjoy the best bourbon and tequilas, you're in for a treat. Where this place really shines, is with the service. My bartender Chantal, was absolutely a ROCKSTAR. She knew what I wanted before I did! The staff went out of their way to make sure I was as happy as I possibly could be. A server, Daryl, who wasn't even my server, was available to give awesome local insight on the areas attractions! That's not only rare, it's refreshing. Especially in the desert. We were here the first time for lunch. We watched Logan hand squeeze the limes for the evening drinks so I had to try the fruits of his labor and the margarita was perfect. We had the fried green tomatoes, seared Tuna and buffalo wings. Delicious! At our next visit we had dinner and my filet was perfect and since it was national puppy day our pretty, pretty princess Luna thought so too. The macaroni and cheese that Sabin received with his steak was deceiving spicey which was a wonderful surprise. The staff was as friendly as people we had known for years.
