I hope the owner reads this and cares what people say about his store. My gut says he doesn't because this store hasn't changed since I first stepped foot in there 25 years ago. Unless the staff knows you personally and you shop there daily, you will be treated with indifference at best and contempt at worst. Young gum chewing teen age girls who must learn rudeness in high school is who he likes to hire. I don't mind the higher prices but I will not tolerate rudeness. Hey, Mr. Knowlen? Are you paying attention? I'll assume the store's founder is dead and gone and apathetic family members run it today. It wouldn't have lasted if it been this bad from the beginning. What a shame. It's so easy to treat customers with respect and courtesy. Makes one's job more pleasant too. What is it about this that people don't get? Wake up Knowlen family! Racist and Rude. I will not stand for it. Treating people different because of they way they look. Store is good enough to take your hard earned cash on their overly price sometimes bad good but treat you different as you shop. They acused two kids of stealing and harassed them with no parents around making them both very upset and afraid searched their bags and found nothing. I will demand Justice and will press the issue until my voice is Heard. This place is a disgraceful mess. Not the first encounter I have had since shopping there. Was offered a pathetic gift card for my inconvenience which only had 5 dollars on there instead of the 20 They offered... That was the Second incident of accusing my son of stealing items he walked into the store with. Shame on the Owners and Management. Great store love the employees, always choose this over big name brand stores. Extra plus they help carry your groceries out which is a huge plus being a mother shopping with children. I've lived near by for over 3 years now and have never had a bad experience until recently. There's an older lady who has it out for mother's who use county assistance and I'm not sure why. I've worked my entire life in customer service and it's not just once but every time I use her lane she makes a smart remark about using WIC.
