Very poor customer service, not punctual when promised to complete work, and completed job was adequate but not what I wanted. They picked up my small couch (love seat) from my home on Oct. 6 and told me it would be 3 to 4 weeks before they could complete the job, and I agreed. After 4 weeks I called to inquire about the job, and Ed told me he had taken it apart but it would not be done until "next week". I called the following week and he told me it would be done "next week". When I told him that is what he told me the past week, he said if I was not happy to go pick up my couch. I told him I wanted it upholstered and had no way to "pick up" my couch since they had picked it up from my home. He said it would be ready by the following Tuesday. When I called on that Tuesday, he said he would have it done by the following Monday. It was finally done by Monday Nov. 26 (they had it over a month and a half), and I had it delivered to my home yesterday, Nov. 27. I immediately noticed that the cushions did not have the piping I requested. When I placed my order, I showed Ed a picture of my chair at home that had the piping on the cushions, and asked him to do the same on the couch to match the chair. He agreed to do it, but I believe he got in a hurry to finish the job after my numerous phone calls, that he forgot to do the piping as I had requested and he had agreed to do. I asked for a discount and was given a few dollars off; basically the pickup and delivery fee. I am disappointed and I think that because they are the only upholstery shop in Marble Falls, they feel like they do not have to be professional in their business dealings. Sorry but cannot...
   Read moreWorst customer service I have ever experienced. Gave them a leather chair to repair torn leather on the seat cushion. We called multiple times to try and get an estimate on when the work would be finished and they would never give us an answer. SIX MONTHS go by and I call to ask again when the chair will be finished. The co-owner said "I can't give you an estimated finishing time. So if you don't like that, you can come pick the chair up." We tried to pick the chair up, but since they're warehouse is packed with furniture and the office is so disorganized, they couldn't even find the chair. We gave up on getting the chair back at all. Finally, over a YEAR later, they finished the chair in ONE DAY after we got one of the owner's family members involved. When I asked to receive a discount because of how long it took, the owner refused. The work they did on the chair was good, but doesn't even come close to overcoming the terrible business practices that we experienced. I met with the owner's wife, Stacy, who was very nice, and together we selected a color called "Paris in the Park," to order, which was brown. I didn't give it another thought that she'd enter that color on the work order, which I received a copy of. When the chair was delivered, the workmanship was exceptional; however, the color was a reddish brown. I called Ed to say it was beautiful; however, it was not the color that I had chosen. When I looked at the work order again, my choice was struck out, and another color, "Paris Royal Tabby," was entered! Why? I'll never know the truth, because they tried to say it was my choice... maybe they had the latter in stock? Anyway, it was obviously not right at all. ...
