The product is great, but the installation is sloppy. I had to have Marc my installer come back to sort of clean up some of the lines he ran. Apparently it takes special equipment to drill through cinder blocks, like you can’t get a hammer drill for $70 at Home Depot. I was told they did not do that at all, but my dads house had a softener installed and they drilled through his cinder blocks to run the drain. The install was significantly cleaner too. Also electrical tape is the best way to secure a hose according the the way my system was installed. If you choose to have a system installed, request anyone but Marc in my opinion. Marc also told a 19 year old girl that he can come back to service our equipment when no one is home, which to this day is still making me uncomfortable. When they put the drain hose into my sump pump, they removed the alarm for some reason and did not put it back. I can keep going but at this point I feel my point has been made. I’ve waited 2 weeks to try and calm down to post this review but the wait has done nothing for me, I still find myself unsatisfied with the installation and uncomfortable due to the attitude of the installation technician.
Update, it took over a year but they are finally going to come look at their terrible work. They claim I never contacted them but I did and they were going to send Marc. I requested a different tech but Marc was going to show up so I cancelled. They claim I never rescheduled but they kept trying to send the guy who did the terrible job.
Update 2, they stated the install was fine. They sent me a survey in my email where I stated all of these issues and they responded by booking someone to come out without enough notice for me to take ANOTHER day off of work to deal with this. The gm responds to other reviews on here so why not mine? I would like to hear from the gm. Please contact me. You have my phone number. Do something about this...
Read moreI will start off by saying that im not use to dealing with super kind and highly professional people that without a shadow of a doubt care greatly about their customers and their company. This was CJ with Culligan Marlette. We had CJ out to do our water softner installation, he was very timely. He answered every question I had for him and his work was very neat. CJ treated me and my family with the upmost kindness, he even joked with my three young boys as he worked and they just loved him! He also wanted to make sure my wife and I completely understood the system and how it worked. We are completly satisfied and everthing is working beautifully. Culligan is very lucky to have CJ aboard and I hope he spends his career with them as we look forward to dealing with him in the future. We are stoked to be a part of the culligan family now. Growing up my parents always used culligan for there water treatment needs. They really do have the best equipment out there as far as I am concerned. Keep up the great work...

We had our water softener spring a leak in its seal and it sprayed water all over our basement and we had no idea how long it had been going on when we found it by chance at 9:45PM. We called and left a message and at 7:50AM the next morning, someone from the office had called and said they were sending Derrick out right away. He told us that he heard what had happened and turned around (he was on his way to another call in North Branch) and came back to our area and fixed it within 20 minutes. He let us know if there was any damage to call the supervisor and put in a claim. Fortunately it seems like everything is drying out and losses are minimal. I appreciate the STELLAR customer service Culligan has shown us. This is literally the reason we went with Culligan vs a smaller company. This is the level of customer service we all need everywhere.
