This was my first year going to Spook Hollow and I have to say I'm pretty impressed! They do an amazing job of getting you immersed from waiting in line to going through the actual haunt. We got there about 30 minutes before the ticket gates opened and had to wait about 45 mins- 1 hour to get into the actual haunt. It was definitely worth it. They even had scare actors roaming the lines before getting to the ticket booth. There are three parts, starting with the manor, then going outside on the trail, then ending off in an industrial site of sorts. While there were some missed opportunities for scares in the actual haunt, overall it was pretty good! I did get spooked quite a few times and the attention to detail in the actual haunt was impressive. A lot of the actors seem to take their roles seriously and did awesome with interacting with my fiancé and I. Overall, it was a great haunt andI'll definitely be going next year again.

My eight-year-old refused to stay with his grandparents on date night and insisted on going to Spook Hollow with us. We could tell he was getting nervous in line but various characters and workers alike came around to chat and high-five him. Because of that, he ended up loving it and wants to come back every year. He has autism, so this meant so much to us that Spook Hollow volunteers went the extra mile to make him comfortable. He still had quite a few scares, but it was all fun, and he laughed afterwards.

Me and my little group had a blast here! The care and creativity that goes into all of the sets and scenes is wild. Every area is unique and focused on a different fear. The staff and scare actors are awesome! Amazing line management and the atmosphere while waiting makes it go by quickly! It rained on us in the beginning and we were provided ponchos for the areas that weren't indoors. One of the best haunt experiences i've had! Thank you for all your hard work on this!!

Let me preface this review by stating that the haunt itself is very good. The buildings and the trail look amazing with lots of dedicated actors. That being said, the line is very long, expect to wait around 3-4 hours total. Crowd control within the haunt is pretty good, so I don’t fault the haunt for the long wait time and being busy. However, after waiting about 2 hours initially, you go into the first part of the attraction which takes maybe 5 or so minutes to get through only to emerge into another about an hour or so line which kind of kills the mood. That secondary line is also frustrating because the ‘fast pass’ section of the line 1. Lets twice the amount of patrons go before general admission (wish they would have alternated) and 2. Those in the fast pass don’t even have to prove they have a fast pass so anyone could theoretically jump in that line. All in all this is a really fun haunt, I just wish that the line system was done a little bit differently. The secondary line could have benefited with some entertainment and some concessions to keep people interested and from...

I am a bit torn as to what rating to give this haunt. It is quite long, has a ton of actors, and a couple very cool looking set pieces. However, that can only get your so far. Length doesn’t mean much if you see a lot of the scares coming. Being well staffed doesn’t matter if the characters aren’t particularly good or memorable with a couple of exceptions. A bit of nice stuff to look at only makes the length black corridors and chintzy Halloween store dĂ©cor stick out all the more. The first three quarters of the attractions are decent. It does pick up when you get to the industrial area at the end. That has some wonderful scares. There were also a few amazing actors, but I don’t want to spoil them. This is an all-volunteer place as far as I can tell (and a ton of kids including some who appear to be on their own which might be a little dangerous), and it certainly feels like one in both good and bad ways. I tentatively recommend it, but don’t go in expecting...

Went to this to tonight w my daughter and it was a blast. It exceeded my expectations. As a horror movie fan, this was a special treat. The opening zombie was eating a person on a table, and then a strobe went off, followed by an ear piercing BANG, only to show the zombie was an inch away from our face all of the sudden. Pretty freaking awesome. One part was psychological, as it has you inch into a room filled with rubber inflated walls and you can’t tell where the rest of your party is, and you can’t tell where you are. It feels like your going to freak out, loose your breath, or loose the way through the room! On top of being pitch dark half the time, and not being able to tell who’s real, and what’s a prop, the place kept going on and on. It felt like it lasted 45min to an hour walking through. Well worth the wait in the rain. Thank you guys. Even though my teenage daughter had fun, she was scared to death, and I can’t say I didn’t jump a few times myself!...
