Shetlers Market — Local services in Marshfield

This store just opened and it is big inside! They have some adult and kids clothing. They also have some miscellaneous household items. Some of the items look like Amazon returns.

Their food selection includes frozen meats and some fresh meats, frozen and fresh vegetables and dairy products. Their frozen fruit section was amazing. They had blueberries, blackberries, cherries, peaches and even gooseberries and much more! They had a good selection of condiments, boxed and canned goods.

Their prices were very good but if you are concerned about expiration dates, I would recommend checking every item you are considering.

The checkout area in the new store is designed so poorly. For as large as the store is, you'd think they would have made a checkout area with better flow. You can't squeeze more than two carts into the line. Ppl are cutting because there is no order. Cashier's watch it happen and say nothing. It's very annoying. I think I'll just stick to shopping at the Norwood location. They're much nicer there anyway.

Update - Upon reference to Shelter's reply, I hope that other potential customers see how rude and arrogant the representatives of this place are and also choose to take their business elsewhere. Replies like that are so unprofessional....

I just left shelters and have to say I was a little peeved because the woman checking us out took a personal phone call while checking us out. I feel that cell phones should not be used during the time you are working. What if she had made a mistake because she was not giving the person checking out her undivided attention if I were the owner I would make that a no no to be on your cell during working hours.
