Owyhee County License Bureau — Local services in Marsing

We met the rudest woman in Idaho at the Marsing DMV office. My husband and I went in to renew our drivers licenses and Kasey treated us like the "soup Nazi" on the Seinfeld show. We have had the gentleman there help us on another visit and he was so kind and polite, but Kasey challenged us during the whole process. We knew we needed a birth certificate, SS card, etc. and came prepared with 5 forms of ID, but she kept barking at us that she needed more proof. The last straw was when she said my SS card was laminated and she couldn't accept it. I told her it wasn't laminated and she said it was so. So I took it out of the plastic cover and handed it back. She looked offended that I had done that and made us feel uncomfortable the rest of the time. She needs another job NOT working with the public. If you go in, wait for another employee to help you, she will ruin a perfectly good day. I am willing to consider that maybe she recently had some catastrophic event happen in her life that led to her rudeness, but I am 64 yrs. old and have NEVER been treated so badly as I...

I think it’s very entertaining to read some of the reviews left by people outside of Owyhee county!!!! This DMV office is here and open because the Owyhee county residents registration fees are paying for it! To leave a bad review just because you weren’t waited on first,because you went over your county line to register your vehicle trying to save some time,Instead of actually basing your review on the helpful people at the DMV office in Marsing is childish. How do I give zero stars???? I stood in line for more than an hour and they would call people ahead of me because I live on the wrong side of the river!! People who just came thru the door could go before me. Finally I got called to the teller and someone who seriously just came in could cut in line. I was told to go back to my place in line. My kids go to Homedale school (Owyhee County) but where I live they classify me in Wilder (Canyon County). I live less then 10 minutes from this DMV yet I'm shunned by the staff.
