Whitehouse Drive-In — Restaurant in Marsing

When my family and I was wrongfully evicted from our home in Parma, we had absolutely no where to go. We tried the Parma Motel and I'm sorry but I won't send my worst enemy to the Parma motel. I called the Whitehouse Motel in Marsing explaining my situation and the owner was absolutely understanding and I was lucky they had a room open. Not only do they have nightly rates but also have monthly. Between the owner and her daughter they go to each room every morning at about the same time to see if you are in need of fresh towels tp or if you are in need of anything else to make your stay comfortable. The ladies change the entire bedings each day and scrub the rooms down including the bathrooms. The make sure the room is in complete order and clean for the next guest to stay. They are definitely wonderful people and definitely make u feel like family. Went to get a milkshake with a buddy and the drive in line was 5 cars long. The parking lot thankfully only had one car parked in it so we decided to order our milkshakes as dine in. After getting our order taken we were forgotten about for 30 minutes. Meanwhile a teenager attending prom at the high school across the street wearing a DRESS went behind the counter and started doing things. Very unprofessional to allow this as a business. After they remembered that we ordered our drinks (Butterfinger/Butterscotch and a Strawberry/Cheesecake) they handed us a Butterfinger and a Butterscotch Shake. They then gave those incorrectly made drinks to the girl who was going to prom that went behind the counter. After another 5 minutes our drinks were made and we were offered a refund at which we didn't have the time to accept due to being on a timely schedule. They have cute designs on the windows all year around and decorate out front sometimes...I like that I have only ever seen teenage kids working there, I think the owner does that to help the local teens out ( not 100% on that) service is always fast friendly and with a smile...when they understand my husband's dad joke. Food is unfortunately not that great. I got a root beer float and it was mostly just root Beer with a dash of ice cream, another time I ordered the shrimp basket and I got very sick after eating that, but I thought we'll kinda my fault they are kids that work there and I ordered fish...not my brightest move lol so I went and gave them one more try hamburgers for all with fries nice and safe, they were not to bad, dry and the fries were a tad on the burnt side.
