Me and my friend got our tongues pierced here and the piercer pierced my tongue tie, and I had pain to where 800mg of ibuprofen which is hospital grade ibuprofen and it didn’t even touch the pain. Me and my friend did everything we told to keep it clean and so it wouldn’t get infected and within a day my friends tongue turned yellow and I couldn’t talk my pain was so bad the day after I got it pierced I had to go to med express to get medicine for it and they even said the piercer pierced my tongue wrong. This is what was wrong with my friend “Right after my piercing I passed out from the extreme pain, which never happened from my other piercings I’ve had done. I can’t feel the tip of my tongue at all. The day after, my tongue immediately changed colors and swelled up. Day 2 of having it, bruising started and it traveled underneath my tongue. Every movement was pinching my nerves in my jaw. The only relief I had was this 800mg ibuprofen I had from the hospital. A ring formed around the piercing site and there’s bumps on the top and bottom...

As someone who's HUGE into reading reviews, you learn to really look at what's "real" experience and what's someone overselling the bad OR the good.

However, I don't have enough words to speak to how excellent my experience has been with Hot Rod. I have several pieces with Hannah (and a few more on the books) but I also have art from other artists in this shop as well as others locally and further away.

The environment at Hot Rod is such a pleasant one compared to other shops. Artists seem to actually like each other AND their clients.

You will not find someone with gentler hands than Han. She's an absolute dream to get tattooed by and not just because her art is gorgeous. She works incredibly hard to create a SAFE, welcoming, enjoyable experience for clients.

There is no replacement for the time an effort and SAFETY that is created by a truly practiced and educated tattoo artist.

The only reason I DONT recommend Hannah more is because it'll take even longer for me to get...

I absolutely love this place! I got all my tats and piercings here and only here! This is the most cleanest and friendliest place ever! And I love corey hes amazing! He did 3 of my tats and about to be 4 here soon! Best place hands down and I love autumn shes awsome! I highly always recommend this place to my friends and family ! Remember when getting a tattoo you get what you pay for! If it's cheap its gonna look cheap I'd rather pay a price that's steep and have the tat look outstounding then crapy if you pay say like 200 for a 500 dollar tat then ur only getting a 200 dollar quality not 500 thats why I go here bc you get what you pay for everytime ! There top quality here ! This is and where I will always go in the future I dont care if I move outta state when I want a tat I will always make the travel to come here...
