Got here and was told that the kitchen was closed, no big deal. Got an outdoor seat and waited for "Steve", our alleged waiter. After about 15 minutes I just went to the bar to get beer. Our friends arrived shortly after and had to resort to the same thing, where they were they were served and then told that they could not order from the bar and that our waiter would be with us. We waited another half hour and still no Steve. Toward the end of this half hour we asked the same employee who sat us if we could move to an open picnic table and she okay'd it. Eventually I asked a waitress to get Steve for us because we hadn't been served yet. Instead of getting Steve, 2 waitresses and Steve congregated about ten feet away from us and talked smack about how we moved tables; though I'm not sure why this mattered because Steve never came to us while we were at our previous spot for 45 minutes or so. I confronted them about it and also asked why people who were seated after us were still getting menus and ordering food; I was told that they had reservations. This is a strange system to me; you can only order food with a reservation but if walk in space is available then you aren't allowed? The kitchen is clearly still open, but apparently only for a special few. And while one of our group was checking out (at the bar because no one would come to our table) the baetender asked how everything was, and as she was telling her, one of the waitresses interupted and called her a liar and said that she came over to help us...AFTER WE COMPLAINED!! How ignorant and rude can you be?! All that I can surmise is that they don't like money that much. They need to rethink their business model. All in all the atmosphere is great, the beer that I had was okay, but the service is the worst that I've ever had anywhere. If you're going to talk smack on me for wanting ANY service, at least walk further away from the table. I advise that you do NOT go here. Also, they use child labor. I'm not joking. They have a girl between the age of 9 and 12 seating people and bussing tables. How pathetic. Pay someone who's of legal age of...

Was visiting friends in the area. Always look for a local place. This was suggested. Parking is street side only. Not an issue, just figured I'd mention. I was on my own, so I asked if I could sit at the bar. There was plenty of room. I hit the restroom up. It was clean, with fun signs placed all over the hall and room itself. Made my way back to the bar where I had a seat... And waited. I had a good menu, but didn't know what was supposed to happen next. The bartender was busy, but never acknowledged me to let me know if she would be taking care of me or if someone else would be over. No asking if I wanted something to drink. I believe it was finally the owner who eventually came over. He poured me one of the house beers, I had the lager. It took a bit longer for him to come back to take my food order. I was ready to go, when he informed me about it being wing night. Well that sealed the deal there. Food didn't take long after I ordered it. Wings were standard variety, with good flavor. Most of the way through, one of the staff members came over to drop some wet wipes off. He was probably reading my mind, because I was trying to figure out how to find someone to ask for this exact thing. The one thing I haven't mentioned yet is the drink menu. If I wasn't driving, I would have indulged in one of their buckets. I'm not explaining further.... Just do it.

All in all, if I were in the area again, I'd eat here. I wouldn't use it as a destination. I'd like to try more of the menu, but what I had was good. I'm not sure what was going on with the service. It could have been better. I'm not going to condem them over it. There could have been issues I'm...

*edited for our most recent visit...food was good but there was very little meat on the gyro nachos *picture is from the first visit and contains at least double the meat that i received on the most recent order. . I love margaritas but the Margarita flight was wayyyyyyyy too sweet and I tasted no alcohol in them but it may have been due to the overwhelming sweetness. The service was definitely lacking. Our waitress was hard to find and not very attentative. The waitresses at the other tables were busting their behinds and I saw them TONS of times but I had to search mine out to get a water and pay the bill and being busy is fine but there were tons of waitresses there who could have helped her out if so. The experience overall doesn't make any of us want to come back.

First time here and we can't wait to come back. Amazing food and great service. The fried pickles are spears not chips and come with plenty to share. The housemade beer cheese could be my favorite beer cheese ever and the gyro nachos are unique and so yummy! They also have a decent sized drink menu which includes house brews, martinis, and bucket drinks. Id highly recommended this place...

A day trip turned even better by making this pit stop on our journey. Way beyond beer at this “brewerks!” Although there are strong and good craft beers, bourbons and wines might make this place a must-try on anyone traveling down the Ohio. The owner, recently relocating from Chicago, not only does he know his way around the kitchen and restaurant business, but truly believes in the staff’s quality of life. Never stopped in here before and we were delighted to meet everyone during our meal. Keep going strong and we can’t wait to be back again for more!

Little small inside, but full of character, and has a very nice covered outdoor dining area. Unfortunately, the proprietor can't tell the stories behind the photos on the wall. Enjoyed my lunch and am planning an evening jeep ride with the bride to go back for dinner. I had a Reuben and onion rings. LOVED the onion rings. There was something unique about them. The Ruben was very good. Wasn't loaded, but it was more than adequate. Wait staff was very friendly and conversed well. I recommend this if you're traveling the river on the Ohio side.
