on valentines day my mother called and ordered a detroit pizza, she was starving and ready to eat, and told her coworkers she would feed them too. the pizza never came, my mother and multiple coworkers waited, called the restaurant and checked for the delivery man. also, she payed with a cashapp card so they stole her money. when i called for my mom asking to get the pizza we never got, they said they couldnt help. the nasally male manager i spoke with was rude and condescending, and i will be leaving more bad reviews. i will also be going to the restaurant to complain to his higher up too. defelice is no longer good food, its liars and theives. i gave multiple people the order name and number my mother used, they even confirmed that she made the order with her card, but they couldnt help. so they stole my mothers money on purpose, told my mother she could get the pizza when she wanted after they refused to deliver, and then when we tried to get what we payed for they said no. these employees and the “owner” make themselves look good in comments, and then lie and refuse to help in real life. i will be calling the number the “owner” left and making sure they know how low and disgusting this location and its employees are. honestly doubt the owner is really commenting… cant trust any of these liars anymore, will be complaining about the comment responding to...

I just wanted to personally THANK the employees who braved the weather today to open the shop and go far above and beyond. My grandparents have had 0 power since last night, we wanted to get them a hot meal to snack on until power comes back on(no telling when that’ll be) When my husband called the shop(basically THEE ONLY PLACE OPEN IN FERRY) they said “i’m so sorry but our delivery is limited and to pick up it’s about an hour waiting time. So we order, we wait… while sitting inside the shop the phone ORDERS WERE CONSTANT. Some cussing out employees, hanging up on them, asking for items they are unable to do at the time because of such high volume they limited the menu to basics and the pan fried pizza only. (Understandable to MOST) While waiting we saw employees going above and beyond, trying to keep a sense of humor as they’re literally getting BURIED in orders. Running into each other, laughing, slinging pizzas in and out of the ovens, it was SO HOT inside that building that they were stepping outside just to catch a cold breeze on their sweaty faces. I PERSONALLY want to say THANK YOU. Not only did my grandparents get a hot meal, they got something made with love that they can eat until the power is restored and THAT means more than you know. I have ordered from this location 2 times (online). The first time I ordered from here it took 2 hours to get my order to me and my home at most is only 2-3 miles from the pizza shop . I got my food and the food was good but it shouldn't take 2 hours just for pizza. My most recent order( again online ) was around 8pm and they closed at 9 pm, I placed the order, it was deducted from my card and message said it would be about an hour, which was fine but when I called the store a little time later to see if my order was completed, the worker said that she didn't receive my order. So I checked to see if my money had been refunded to my card , it showed that I got back all my refund except like a dollar and change. I have been told by several of my friends that ordered from this location that they will cancel the order if it's close to closing time especially if it's a big order. So for future reference if you decide to order from this location , do it a couple hours before closing or order from their...
