It was a perfect warm autumn day for a boat ride down the Tug River. Our captain, Keith, is a historical treasure trove of information on all things Matewan and the history of this small town is super interesting.
Even if you're not a boat person, the river is really shallow and the air boat glides effortlessly over the water. No waves or splashing.
It was $60 per person for an hour tour and well worth it. Captain Keith even walked through town with us afterwards for an extended history lesson. He was fabulous and I highly recommend...
