Mi Pueblito — Restaurant in Matewan

Family of four came in for dinner, and asked for take out. Had to wait over an hour for our food, watched a table of 10 be seated, order, eat and table cleared before our food was out. Asked multiple times for it to be checked on. When it finally came out the waitress dropped our food on the table and said “sorry” and ran away without even leaving a bill or telling us how to check out. Then we had to wait in line for 10 minutes to pay our bill, as they asked people with pick up orders who walked in on the side what their orders were. Honestly won’t be back. We have visited Matewan, WV three times now, but our first trip to Mi Pueblito. We just got done riding and wanted to eat something quick because it was very warm & humid outside. The owners husband sat us in the front of the restaurant, which had a nice area and an air conditioner vent! We had a wonderful dinner--highly recommend the chicken-pineapple fajitas!! Best place around this area! Reasonably priced with great food and service. Pablo is the best! He’s always super personable. My children adore him. Alex is also a great server.
