Jungle Tours Maui — Local services in Maui

My fiancé and I booked the private jeep tour with Alec on 4/15/2021. I am a type A person so going with the flow and not having too much knowledge of what the day will bring was stressing me out for sure lol if you are like me, just do your best to go with the flow and you will have the most PERFECT time. Alec texted us the night before to confirm our tour & told us to bring a towel, and shoes that could get dirty/muddy. I highly suggest to bring a small backpack too since you will carry your personal items with you on the hike (he has an open jeep, no security for personal items, just bring a small backpack). Alec will provide waters, lots of knowledge and history of the island and he makes snack stops, bathroom stops & lunch stops along the way. Alec took so many amazing videos and photos of us on our camera / GoPro. He truly captured everything we would want to for memories. We had the best time and would highly recommend Alec's private tour to all of our friends and family!!! We had such a good time that our friends who were in Maui with us wanted to go so badly with Alec while they were there but sadly he was booked. So don't make the mistake of not booking in advanced. Alec was so good to us! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his home. He gave us history and understanding about the culture and the tour, He knew just about everyone and was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend booking Jungle Tours Maui and experience the Road to Hana personally in the back of the Jeep without the stress of driving it yourself. We got to spend most of our time hiking and exploring instead of stressing about the road and where to park. It was also private with the best view in a jeep instead of booking a van tour. It truly was the best day ever and it's really tailored to whoever is traveling with Alec at Jungle Tours Maui.

I would highly recommend this tour! We were looking for a way to experience the road to hana without the stress of driving and researching the stopping points. This tour was perfect for this! The day started with Alec picking us up at our place of stay in west Maui. He arrived on time. During the drive toward Hana he shared about Hawaiian culture and the areas of Maui. He drove cautiously around the windy roads to Hana and showed so much respect for other drivers and tourists. We experienced the bamboo forest, rainbow eucalyptus trees, waterfalls, quaint towns and churches. Alec shared local fruits, lunch and dessert (lychee - so yummy!). He took tons of pictures and videos so we could fully experience each stop without worry of capturing the moments. Such a relaxing day!
