Hm I don’t know how I feel about this company. They’re smooth talkers and advertise very cheap prices for activities around the island but there is a catch. The first one being the prices they advertise do not match what you end up paying in the end. We were lured in by the $38 zipline deal but in the end we paid approx $80pp including tax. I even questioned the sales guy why the price difference and he didn’t have an answer lol. The second catch is that in exchange for the ā€œlow priceā€ activities, you have to attend a 90 minute (more like 2+ hours) of a presentation at 8am at a company called Worldwide travels in Lahaina where a rude old man talks nonstop and you are not allowed to yawn, otherwise you will be insulted in front of the other attendees. (This happened to a salesman next to us) Really pathetic trick to waste people’s time. In the end we did end up saving money overall but this 2 hour sales pitch is so unnecessary. I want 3 hours of my vacation time back but I guess everything comes with a price.

I was in Maui this past week and the fishing charter I booked a while back fell through due to COVID related circumstances. I reached out to Maui Tickets for Less and Yasser & Mike helped us get on another charter that was going out the next day. We had a great time on the 6 hour charter. The big catch that was hooked (opakapaka) was snatched by a shark as it was getting reeled up, but we had fun catching some smaller blue line snapper that were cooked for us after. The crew was great (aloha blue/strikezone) as well. Thanks for setting this up and we can't wait until our next trip back!

Oh where to begin… our expectations of the sunset cruise were not met in general. The sunset was the only thing that gives this a 1 star rating. The music… the food… and the service are not worth it. The entertainment was a middle aged woman trying her best to sing to oldies. She sang the whole night and I had a headache the whole night. The food, not much better than hospital food. Then the boat staff had the audacity to ask for a tip when the whole experience was overpriced from the get go. We will not be back.

The owner rectified the situation by dealing with the employees and finding a solution that worked for my family and within his company policy. He was professional, apologetic for what happened, and easy to talk with.

This IS A SCAM, Nick and Jay were incredibly rude and unprofessional. I purchased tickets for the Lanai ferry. I then got a phone call from a seemingly friendly Nick, who said you can sometimes get free tickets and to call him back. They offered to give us free tickets if we attended a presentation. I did not know Maui Cheap Tickets was a timeshare- Global Discovery Vacations, which actually has several law suits against them. We had Nick charge my credit card for the ferry tickets bc we didn’t know if we’d be able to attend a presentation. Once here, we did contact Nick letting him know we had availability and would be interested in attending the presentation in exchange for the cash and ticket reimbursement (basically fee fairy tickets) he had offered. He had been so persistent since before we even left, we wanted to help him, knowing he got credit for getting people into the presentation. After back and forth based on availability, he offered us a time that worked. He then told us that wasn’t available and promised if we came in for a standby appointment he would still compensate us $200. We did not get into the presentation and called the manager who told us they don’t provide compensation unless you stay for the presentation, which we were there to do, but apparently two more people couldn’t fit into the large conference room. We shared the screenshot from what Nick had promised us, and he still did not honor it. When we called Nick, he started accusing us of playing games with wording (I’m assuming he meant with the text he sent that was not clear). He yelled at us and had a tantrum. We asked him to be more professional, and he told us we were not being professional. We are on vacation and were pursued by him. We followed his directions and believed him. He accused us of waisting his time, it was our vacation time and this is his job.

Bottom line, we lost half a day of vacation driving from our hotel and sitting at the presentation for 45 min before they told us everyone showed up, and another 30 min trying to talk to managers.

DO NOT BUY FROM MAUI TICKETS FOR LESS!! It is a scam timeshare that does not honor what they say. Save your vacation-...

This company was so spectacularly rude to my family that I felt I needed to warn others about them. We were trying to book a snorkeling trip and everything seemed to be sold out. Maui tickets for less salesperson heard us and said they could get us on a trip and if we listened to a sales presentation we would even get a discount, and that there was obligation to buy anything. They did not mention any income restrictions at that time and we agreed and booked our trip. The 5 kids in the group were soo happy 😃.. We received a confirmation email with the time and place of the sales presentation, which we later learned had some fine print about an income minimum to qualify for the discounted tickets. We did not read the fine print and showed up for the presentation) which was an hour away.

We took a seat along with several other people and filled out a questionnaire. Before the presentation started they asked my family member to stand up, asked if they really earned less than $60,000 between them and when they said yes, they were told to leave because they did not make enough money. On they way out they were handed a paper and told to call Nate to get a refund. I called for my family member, hoping that even if they could not get the discount, that they could go on the trip because the kids were looking forward to it. All I can say is WOW, Nate is the rudest person I have ever encountered, he should never be allowed to interact with the public, and if he is not the owner, I hope the owner reads this and fire him on the spot.. I told him that their procedure of humiliating people in front of others was unacceptable and that based on that alone, they should make an exception and let us pay more but go on the trip, of course he said NO and called me pathetic when I told him that I was going to tell the Mayors office how they did business.

Never never never do business with theses guys, even if you do earn more than $60,000 and they try to be nice to you, have some self respect and say no they are not worthy of...

We had booked a fishing excursion through ticketsforless. They gave us a great price & my son and I were set to go on the morning of July 12th. On July 11th the island of Maui experienced an 9000 acre brush fire that evacuated roughly 600 people. All phone lines & means of communication were compromised. I decided it was not safe for my son and I to go fishing & to go out in general. I had reached out to Strike Zone fishing charters many times via phone and sent 2 emails, as they were the operators of the catamaran. Countless hotel personnel advised me not to go fishing that day. I called Evan (general manager) for Maui tickets for less. He was not really willing to help in any way. He told me to call Strike Zone, I explained that I had emailed & called them he still refused to help. I received a response to my emails from Dana Klingman (owner?) Stating that she also will not do anything for us & we need to take it up with tickets for less. Safe to say that this experience with both Maui tickets for less & Maui Strike Zone. I know the fire was on the other side of the island, but smoke was everywhere. The fire was out of our hands & strike Zone should have offered something. They refused. At the end of the day I think a few hundred dollars is not worth a review like this.

Updated response to Seller :

There were many phone calls attempted ,as well as 2 emails out within 2 hours of the fire breaking out. I see you're trying to put the onus on the hotel personnel, however the facts are - there was a fire, my son and I have asthma, there many gusts of wind blowing on the island all day. Smoke was was felt all over the island. Rather then fix the problem you are still defending yourself. Be careful with Maui ticket for less And Strike Zone Fishing. Our trip to Maui was amazing other than the experience...
