Read moreI made a $2.09 purchase for which I attempted to pay cash using a $2 bill. The cashier refused to accept my $2 bill (in a not so polite manner). When I stated that a business accepting cash has to accept all US currency, unless posting a sign to the contrary, she very rudely stated that she didn't have any place to put the $2 bill and was not going to accept it under any circumstances. Unfortunately, more words exchanged.
I should have just paid with a credit so they can "lose money" on the transaction fee.
