We had initially booked our day-long Deschutes whitewater rafting excursion through a different outfitter but due to staffing shortages on their end, our party ended up being sent Dano's way. What an incredible experience provided by this outfitter! We had Roy as our guide, who had just come back to help out for the day (but we hope he gets enough encouragement to guide on a more regular basis). He was incredibly fun, knowledgeable, and provided us a fantastic experience.

Dano and his guides (Dave-O and Roy) were all the perfect balance of safety-minded and fun-loving, creating an enjoyable day for all. At the end of the day, it was a complete matter of chance getting sent to this outfitter, but we all agreed we had the best time with this group and are so glad we got the privilege to experience the river with them. Highly recommend RiverStone for Deschutes rafting excursions; we will definitely be back! Thank you, Dano, Dave-O, and especially Roy! You guys...

We had SUCH a blast on this trip! We went on Sat Aug 5th in a group of 6 people, which consisted of 4 adults and 2 kids (12 & 14). Our guide’s name was Cole and he was awesome. I’m a not a strong swimmer and got talked in to coming on this trip. So we let him know that and he took us through each rapid on the calmer side. I was not scared at all the whole time and was able to really enjoy it. Cole really ran his boat well. We had a great time sharing jokes and doing different things through each rapid that make it SO much more than just a white water trip. We loved the River lore told on the driver there and back, and then the extra lore on the water. We had so much fun we want to do the multi day trip next time. Thanks for running such a great experience that is both fun and safety focused. Hope to see...

We had an amazing 3 day trip down the Deschutes River with RiverStone Adventures! Shania and Michael were our guide team. They were both incredibly patient with our kids and made our safety their number one priority.

They are both amazing cooks. They fully cooked and served us with 7 very delicious meals. Shania always put a lot of extra love into her platters and decorated them very beautifully AND had coffee ready first thing in the morning every morning!!

Shania knew her way around the rapids and gave clear directions. Her leadership kept us all working together as a team. She was very knowledgeable about the area and local wildlife.

They both had great personalities and made sure we had fun both on and off the raft!

We definitely will be going with RiverStone...
