I don’t usually care about giving reviews less than favorable but today’s experience leads me to conclude that the Piggly Wiggly is no longer a good option for me. Since the changes in management the direction of this place has caused many of my friends and family to no longer feel they can shop here anymore. Usually I base my opinion on a multitude of factors by which pricing is most important. If you think that big box chain stores are high wait till you see the changes in pricing here. Today was the final straw. I unloaded at cash register number three and saw right away the digital screen wasn’t working. I want to see what I’m being charged so I asked the cashier why they continue to use this register knowing the screen is inoperable and has been so for three months. I suggested using a different location but all I got was attitude and was told there was issues with the other counters that prevented switching. My comment was that I preferred being able to see what I’m being charged and she said well that was not her responsibility. You can go somewhere else well you know young lady I will from now on.
