King Chef — Restaurant in Maxton

Only choice in Maxton. No dine in. Take out only. This place is great considering they could do worse and not lose business.

Only fast food place in Maxton is Hardee's. Nic's Kwic Pic have food and most of Nic's places have booth tables to eat at. I've ordered from King Chef and eaten it at Nic's. Buy a drink and some chips or something from Nic's if you do this. Great people at both locations, Maxton is just a low average income place. Act right and you'll be treated right. Maxton's a small place so everyone will be loudly greeting everyone around you, enjoy it, and don't let it put you off.

I'd give it 5 stars, but people tend to go out of their way to experience 5 star places, and so if someone came here with high expectations it'd get bombed with 1 star reviews and...

Worst customer service I ever seen. The chicken I ordered tasted fake, so I tried to get something else in the place of it and the lady got upset and rude with me, while I talked with nothing but respect. She acted like it would kill her to exchange my order, I wasn’t even asking for a refund. I’ll never eat their again, and I wouldn’t recommend this...

Tasteless and poor service. Kid up front was clueless. Egg rolls were fat and good as was the egg drop soup. Entree of shrimp and vegetables was awful and mostly dry rice. Traveled from Laurenberg cause Jin Jin is closed on Monday...I'll do...
