If I could give 0 I would. Went yesterday to purchase a $3000.00 mower. I spoke with manager before writing this and he said he will talk to the employees about their attitude and customer service. I arrived at 1:20pm and NO ONE WAS available to help me with this sale. I waited almost an hour for the 2 guys to get back from lunch. Both gone at same time and that's a no no. Then mower wouldn't start and they said it'd be another hour to change the battery. I know it doesn't take that long to change a battery. I asked for free delivery and I was told "No". I live 13 miles away from them. I asked them for a discount on a firepit and they said "No". They were rude and they didn't care about me or my experience there or keeping me as a customer. I will not be going back. If I could have found same mower for same price and had time I definitely would have went elsewhere. Only 1 person was nice to me and that was the cashier that has dark hair and glasses and I appreciated his kindness as he knew how frustrated I was. I talked with Will last week about financing and he only gave me the name of the company. I went to the bank for a personal loan and then yesterday was told 0% financing is available through the financial institution. Why didn't he say that last week when I was there? I said I was going to the bank. I want no ties to them and I was so ready to go home. Ended up getting a friend to bring mower home for me and I paid him instead. Then my husband was mowing and a screw fell out. He found that it was one from the seat. Crappy job putting it together and crappy customer service is all I can say. I will be spending my money elsewhere from now on. Was trying to shop local but seems they don't care if you come back or not. So sad since it's the only Lumber place close. I'll be driving a bit farther...
Read moreI live in Florida and just bought a home in Conway. I purchased almost $3,000 worth of lumber last week for a fence that has to be built as we have large dogs. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday, December 11th. As I will not be moving until next Saturday, I arranged for someone to be there all day yesterday to be able to direct the delivery men on where to place the lumber and also to be able to tip them. It was not delivered. I called lumber one about 10 minutes before they closed yesterday and barely got through to someone on the 10th try. I spoke with Frank in sales who transferred me to this one and that one with no answer. Finally he said I can wait to speak with Eddie, the supervisor. After (during my own work hours) waiting for 15 minutes. Finally Eddie jumped on the line and after, kid you not, 2 seconds he hung up on me. As I was saying hello the phone disconnected and there was no way to get back in touch with them as it was after hours now. I now have to tell my arranges person that not only did they miss work yesterday to be there for me, but you’re also going to have to come out on a Saturday and wait all day without even assurance that it will be delivered today. I find this extremely unprofessional. As I understand, it rained yesterday so they may have gotten a little behind, and that is FINE, but no communication, not even a courtesy call to say “Hey we are unable to make it today.” After we have paid out a lot of money and a delivery fee on top. And after Frank and Eddie both knew that I was waiting anxiously to find out what was going on and then to just hang up? They could have given me a quick call back. I will be calling this morning and hopefully updating this review, but this has not been a pleasant...
Read moreWhoa weee! What an experience I’ve had over the past two months. I give them two stars because they do have good priced lumber, that’s the ONLY reason. That being said, my entire experience with lumber one has been a complete nightmare. Trying to communicate with the associates in the lumber department, them saying they will “call you back” but NEVER do. Being told “you’re lumber is on the truck” multiple times but it not actually on the truck. Being owed a refund on 10 post and trying to get the refund 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I laugh because that’s nearly impossible. then the lumber being back ordered and you have to go buy somewhere else (which is fine! I understand this!) The issue is they owe you 1700 for a refund and having to make ten million calls just to get a refund. Which I was never given a receipt. Trying to get them to do ANYTHING is almost impossible. Fast forward, three weeks later we STILL had not gotten our 1700. He tells me to call MY company and find out why. So I do. There is nothing on my end. I call back, am accused of lying. Am told the money HAS left their bank account, when in reality it hadn’t. After speaking with these people for a month and a half it takes me getting mad for something to happen. Finally get ahold of the lady in the back who was very kind and understanding to find out there was in fact an error on getting me my money back. This just tops the cake on my experience. It’s really really been...
