What a GREAT experience! Was otw to the beach for the day to do some yard work spiffing up at my place... with gardening friend and my big hound dog. Just as we got onto 17 from 58, all my gauges went to zero! And AC turned warm. My friend was on the phone with her brother who said that sounded like alternator... and we'd get as far as the battery charge would get us. On a hope and prayer, as we got closer, I called the Maysville Police Dept. and spoke with Christie (?sp) to tell her of our situation and ask if a service center in town. She pointed me towards Maysville Tire and Services Center, and place I'd been by so many times. I asked if she'd stay on the phone with us for the couple miles to make sure we got there, and she was happy to do that! We literally rolled into their lot, truck cut off right there! Although they were so busy, Aaron assured me they'd check it out and also said it was likely alternator and could get one quickly and get us back on the road. Within about an hour and a half, we were! We were invited into their nice cool lobby (Rufus my hound dog too)... others there waiting with us and all friendly folks. They have lots of toys to keep children busy.... a book shelf full of children's books... a big aquarium with 2 turtles that were fascinating to watch... bathroom was very clean and even had a little potty for toddlers! From Aaron, Chris (owner) to Joyce (front desk), everybody was so kind and friendly!

What was so worrisome and frustrating on a HOT day turned out to be as pleasant as could be and I'll always toot the horn when going by there. I'm so glad to know of such a great place in the vicinity when on the road in that area and so near my happy place in Cedar Point too! Just 20 minutes away. I went there for a tire change and the guy had the. Tire gun turned up too high when he changed the tire. I didn't know until I got another flat. I went to somebody else to get it fixed.And they told me that you ever put my tires on before, Put them on way too tight and stripped two of the tire bolts, which is unsafe to drive. These other people did me right. When I called maysville tire and service center to tell them what two people told me so far that they did to my tires, he acted like he could have cared less. I refuse to do business with these people anymore because of all the wasted money they caused me. My neighbor down the road said not to do business with them because that's what they do. But I had already had the tires...

Brought 2 vehicles here to have the tires swapped, but keep the rims on the perspective vehicle. They did exactly as I asked & rotated the tires for free since they were switching them around anyway. I did have to pay for them to rebalance the tires, but that was expected. Reasonably priced & was done faster than I'd expected.

Been coming here ever since for like 5 yrs now. I bring all my vehicles here for inspection (they do any county in NC, not just Jones & Onslow).
