Paper Moon — Local services in McGregor

We camp at Pikes Peak a couple of times a year. I always look forward to a visit to Paper Moon. I love to buy cards and little gifts for my friends and family. On my most recent visit, the store was very crowded. I was followed upstairs. You said “ I see you have a card” . I always make a purchase and I tell my friends about your shop. I did make some purchases and the ladies at the counter were very nice. But that day, I left your store, feeling a little sad and disappointed in how I was treated by you. I told my husband who was waiting outside with our two little dogs about what had happened. He said that I should write a review and it was too bad that that took away part of my joy.Im an older lady who just enjoyed your shop. I wasn’t there to shoplift. I discovered this place as part of an indie bookshop tour last summer. I had a decent experience. Unfortunately, I have recently discovered that they do not welcome any customers who aren't Democrat/Liberal. In fact, I was attacked on their FB page because of it. I don't understand why any business would politicize their customer base, especially small businesses, when every customer is i.oortant for staying in business. But if they are OK with hateful comments towards us who have different views, then they must not care too much about staying in business. Absolutely LOVE Paper Moon! A must stop anytime you're near McGregor. Owners are extremely friendly and polite. Lots of wonderful books (kid and adult alike), toys, antiques, and neat little things that make your mouth say "I need that". Its got something for every type of "strange" be it cat lovers, dog lovers, sock people, or vintage print lovers. For cat people the live in cat makes the store extra sweet. Three floors with something for everyone. We live almost 4 hours away and make it a point to stop everytime we're near. You won't be disappointed!!!...
