My husband and I had never been to Steve's, but decided to give it shot while driving through McGregor. There was a $5 cover because of the live music, The Memory Brother's. We went ahead and paid it and were glad we did. The place was clean, the waitress was so nice, and we had great burgers! Silver Dollar is everything you could ever want in a good old style river saloon. Beer, booze, burger grill, bar food, super frosty glasses, games, country music, dancing, and great hospitality. When i see best burgers in town on a sign....I gotta try... went in and wasn't even sure it was open... lights were off inside. It was freezing cold and nobody else was in there. Looks like the place is being sold. The only saving grace was the owner was extremely friendly... that being said... the food was ok... not good... and sadly, I cannot bring...
