Love this place, basic but beautiful. The bridge is quite impressive, you can swim, sunbathe, picnic, launch a kayak or fish from the area. Hiking trail leads up the hill to Rimrock overlook and a new mountain biking trail is nearing completion. Also a large parking area is useful to meet in or stage a bicycle trip from. Could use improvement, facilities are bare bones. Restroom may or may not be open this...

Love this spot. My family picnicked here countless times growing up. Now I've introduced my boys, and they loved it too! With a mix of sun and shade there's a great spot for lounging a summer day away. We arrived around 10am, and by 1pm the beach had really started to pick up.
