The Furniture Mart — Local services in Medford

Quick thank you to Stephanie at Furniture Mart in Medford, MN. My mom was shopping for new living room furniture. She had an idea of what she was looking for, she just needed to find it. After checking a couple of other furniture stores, we stopped at Furniture Mart and were greeted by Stephanie. Stephanie listened as mom described what she had in mind, then she introduced mom to a particular brand. The selection of styles, materials, colors, and prices made it even easier for mom to find what she was ideally looking for. Stephanie introduced a couple of options and then politely excused herself to allow mom time to process all of it. She returned after an appropriate amount of time to see if mom had any questions. Which she did and Stephanie answered each one with clarity. She was patient and not pushy whatsoever. Even when mom said that she felt compelled to shop some more, Stephanie graciously gave mom her card and explained the current incentives. She was great to work with. Ultimately we checked one other store and quickly returned to Furniture Mart and Stephanie. Why? Because Stephanie thoroughly listened to what mom wanted and confidently showed her EXACTLY what she had in mind. On a side note, I was surprised that mom made her buying decision so relatively quickly, as that's not generally her nature. But, I understood why. Because Stephanie was so effective at showing mom what she wanted. Mom is thrilled with her decision and her purchase. Not only did she get the right furniture, but she was also able to pick custom colors/fabrics to suit her style. Mom had a GREAT buying experience, thanks to Stephanie. If you're in the market for furniture of any style, I would suggest Stephanie at Furniture Mart in Medford, MN. I know I'll visit her for our next furniture needs.

UPDATE AND REVIEW REVISION ** The store manager personally called us and made things right. Alan went above and beyond to make sure our issue was resolved. Our salesperson (Tamara, I highly recommend you deal with her) wasn't informed of our problem. There was one employee that handled our issue wrong, and Alan assured us it wasn't how they do business in the community. We were so pleased with how they handled it, we purchased another of the same dresser because we liked it that much!

Buyer beware, if they deliver it or you pick up, if it's damaged, it's on you to resolve. Medford Furniture Mart will not stand behind their product. We were moving and purchased several pieces of furniture for our new home. One of the dressers arrived with a broken latch. I immediately took a photo and returned to the store. This was a latch that cost a couple dollars to replace at a hardware store. Instead of offering to take one off the floor model, or to have someone go get a new latch, this store told us that we had to contact the manufacturer ourselves and resolve the issue, that they don't do anything beyond the sale. They told me I had to send the picture to THEIR manufacturer, wait for them to send someone out to fix it, or replace it. For a two dollar latch, Medford Furniture Mart would rather lose future sales than make it right with the customer. Our salesperson was very nice, too bad the girl we dealt with afterwards wasn't. She was extremely rude and dismissive. I also sent a message about this directly to the store, to which we got no response. That was 2 opportunities for them to do something, they chose...

We just moved to Rochester in November and we decided to check this store out since we've passed it numerous times on the freeway. My wife and I were looking for a small enough couch to fit our apartment.

We worked with JORDAN. Super nice, very welcoming and super knowledgeable. JORDAN didn't bother us , breath down our necks as we looked around. He simply introduced himself, and gave us the scope of the store(really helpful) and then he let us look around and just checked in on us. We actually looked at potential couches and then came back on Tuesday to purchase one. My wife wanted to measure the arm rest of one of the couches lol. Jordan didn't hesitate to go grab a measuring tape and measured it for her. JORDAN answered any and all our questions ( we had a lot).

Buying process: JORDAN didn't push us to the get warranty's. He simply explained the ones they have and really just left it up to us to choose. There was no sales tactics used to try and have us buy it.

Overall ,If I ever have to come to this store to purchase any household furniture again, I really hope JORDAN is working! I highly recommend him!
