Booth AE50 middle entrance of renningers, right when you walk in (toy store) the older lady that sits there grabs your attention, she firstly sells the “labubu” claiming she was pop mart affiliate and to “scan the QR code” that shows “they are real” and of the one of two that was purchased was “rare”. She kept strongly advising they were “real” and resell value around Christmas time would be high. We purchase (2) $20 each, then leave to walk around and see other vendors that have them, the other vendors admit they are “fake*” and worth $10. So we sat down to examine our so called “real labubus”. Turns out that QR code needed to be holographic and the bottom of the feet have a symbol to be shinned upon with a uv light we tried. We walk back nicely (as well filmed the entire interaction) to ask for a partial refund at-least of the fakes, she immediately gets hostel, aggressive, lies some more; claiming we switched them, and threatens how her brother is Lieutenant randomly, while she’s selling a counterfeit product.. She also put one in a wrong box, I mentioned about, so she put it in the correct box and took back the other one we purchased back while talking. We contacted the police to let them aware of the scam at this booth. As well collect our other one we purchased she stolen back without any refund. There is a lady there that does sell REAL labubus and fake ones- but If you want fake labubus go anywhere else in the market, they will openly tell you the truth...
Read moreThis place is RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED! We have traveled the country visiting Many, Many flea markets, swap meets etc. We have Never seen prices as high as this place! Many vendors, about 98% of the vendors had completely unreasonable prices for their items. We were completely shocked. You can easily get the same exact items much cheaper at other flea markets or in adjacent state flea markets. I don’t u derstand why such a high star rating. Unless the vendors keep posting reviews and asking their ‘friends’ to keep posting bogus reviews. We couldn’t finish the entire market. A first for us. Everything was marked up extremely high to Ridiculous. How about making your rent in volume of sales instead off of one sale. We hadn’t noticed anyone buying ANYTHING the entire 2 hours we were there. Smh. Here is the good: the Food (flea market food is always pretty dang good!), there was a Corn hole vendor there. Abe’s Custom Cornhole. Now these are some of the finest most decorative and sturdy cornhole boards we’ve seen across the country. And they are Reasonable prices as well. They are amazing. Go and visit them if you can. We do not plan to come back here ever. It’s a HUGE waste of time. There are Many, Many other swap meets/flea markets around. Same old good stuff BUT at Much more reasonable prices. Don’t waste your time...
Read moreGreat place, but VERY disappointed nonetheless....
This market has a great selection of various goods ranging from locally produced Produce to Chinese produced Pocket Knives; T-shirts printed in China to Chinese made Tech Accessories; Children's Toys manufactured in China, to vendors who are actually from China.
However, the name of the place is VERY misleading. I could NOT find any fleas or farmers for sale! As an avid collector of both, you can understand my dismay and disappointment.
At the very least, I thought they would have a few paper bags full of fleas to add to my ever growing Flea Army that I will use to take over the world one day.
Or at that minimum, I thought I could find an old retired farmer, who is past his prime, that now dispense rustic wisdom to anyone with ears while sitting on my front porch in a rocking chair and sipping iced tea. But alas NO FLEAS and NO FARMERS for sale.
However, I will return this weekend in hopes that they get one or both in stock. Maybe they'll get a Farmer who has Fleas. To say the least, that would be a...
