Is unfortunate, happened at 8:05am [Tuesday, 11th November, 2025] I just wanted to bring some drinks and food to my kids 😢, after the goverment shut down... and being in the store for 25 minutes; I scanned everything with cashier Janice ("she is very nice")... they said that: "they don't accept EBT" (snap) and snatched the groceries from me, since I did not have any other payment method like a mastercard, visa, debit or credit card. They dont have a sign (post or advance statement) at the doors or notice in the registers areas or food aisles; that they dont accept the goverment "food stamps" either. Seriously; a company so billionaire like WM? This had never happened to me before. I was there to buy food not to steal... This store might not be for low income families or persons that depends on WIC or EBT assistance. Both managers in charge treat me with no empathy or understanding (btw both with same name Brandon say): "sorry and that there is nothing they can do because the store dont have permission to accept EBT" that sounds nebulous and like a lie to me... and proceed to say: that I can not leave with the groceries because they dont have my option of payment.
I even asked: So, everyone that comes today with EBT will not get what they came to buy? Is not their fault that this "New Walmart" dont have the option to pay with stamps.. isn't? Y'all will take the groceries back to all the people who are paying with EBT? And will do the same thing to everyone? They will lose their time as well?
Believe me is very frustrating... and feeling helpless; that now I need to drive 12 minutes to the nearest Walmart at Anna to spend another 20 minutes getting my stuff.
If the Corporate, owner or any higher level admin can take care of my situation, at least restablish the option of EBT payment to avoid others like (elders, single mothers, pregnant womens, veterans, disabled persons [like me] and others...) to have this horrible experience or take into consideration my feedback I might be back... In the meantime think is better to go to Kroger 🤷 ("I guess") I left a Picure of the small things I was about to buy... btw Store is...

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Walmart Auto Care Center in Melissa, Texas. From start to finish, the team showed exceptional customer service, knowledge, and genuine care. Everyone I interacted with was professional, kind, and eager to help — you can tell they truly love what they do and take pride in serving their customers.
They explained everything clearly, offered honest recommendations (without pressure), and made sure my vehicle was taken care of with attention and respect. It’s rare to find a team that combines skill with such warmth and compassion — but this Walmart Auto Care Center does exactly that.
Thank you to the entire crew (Eric - Team Lead, Sandra, Bevin, Antoine and Gio) for going above and beyond! I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this location to family...
