I've been trying to word this review for days-- but I've finally figured out that I'll never be able to put into words how grateful I am for Drew and his crew. A wind storm damaged the only tree I have on my property a few weeks ago. I contacted Drew on the recommendation of my brother-in-law-- Drew got back to me within 24 hours. He was delightful to work with. I explained that I was hoping to keep the tree, if he felt it was at all possible. He did a PHENOMENAL job scheduling a visit to evaluate the tree and giving me information about my options. We decided to keep the tree. Then, just before his crew was going to come make some adjustments for the health of the tree, a beaver ate a significant portion of the tree in the middle of the night! I was devastated. I texted Drew the next morning and he evaluated the tree-- again, we discussed options, and made the decision to take down the remainder of the tree. His crew was wonderful; they were professional, neat, and didn't damage any of the irrigation. My experience with this company is that they will value you as a customer regardless of the size of your project (I mean, I only had one 20 foot Bradford pear tree-- there's not much smaller you can get then that!). Drew and his team at Memphis Tree Service are honest, hard-working guys and they genuinely care about their customers. After reaching out to Memphis Tree Service requesting an estimate on trimming 5 trees on our property, the owner of the company scheduled time to come meet me 24 hours later. He showed up early, took the time to walk my property and educated me on what I needed and didn't oversell me on anything. He listened to what I wanted and gave me multiple options to cater to my ask. His pricing was lower than any other industry average and his team even scheduled us earlier than promised for our tree trimming.

Once his crew came out, they got the job done before noon and it looked 100% better than I imagined. I'm writing so enthusiastically about my experience with Drew and his team, not because I care particularly about getting my trees trimmed, but because I value local businesses that over-deliver in value. Memphis Tree Service took care of us and actually cared about the quality of their work.

I have considerable knowledge of trees but I am not skilled at trimming large trees. I have a 100 plus year old willow oak in the center of a deck which also overhangs my house. I have talked with numerous tree companies about trimming this tree while protecting my house, water garden and deck. The tree is irreplaceable to me. Most of the services were nice but did not want to trim the tree the way I wanted it to be trimmed. My way is much more laborious and there are reasons I want it done that way. Today, Drew, came out and said all of the correct things. His understanding of my tree and what I wanted was obvious. His knowledge of his industry is also obvious. He told me what needed to be done, not knowing that I already knew. His price is very reasonable for what I want done. I am so happy to find such a true professional.
