Lost Silver Mine RV Park — Local services in Menard

Just want to say thank you to the owner for allowing us to stay, we broke down four hours away from home after camping, we broke down and made it to the gas station and called to ask if they were open and were told they had just opened but had full connection and we were welcome to stay. Each site was Flat and level, all had water and sewer connection and 20, 30 and 50amp electric connection. Beautiful site close to gas station and food. We saw a herd of cows and horses from our window. Also tons of flowers butterflies and hummingbirds. Thank you for making our bad truck experience into a wonderful adventure and stay thank you for being so kind. Also side note we pumped gas and ate lunch and dinner at the Bowie's in front...

Just needed a quick stop over, booked online only to find it was located behind a truck stop. We got to listen to parked refer trucks run ALL night. Even worse was the mesquite located in the middle of the drive that took out the side wall of my front truck tire. We pulled in after dark and had no idea it was so poorly maintained. Great for a quick stay. Google maps didn't take us to the correct place since the entrance is actually behind Bowies gas station. I think it's made for smaller RVs, not sure if you could get a 5th wheel...
