Roberts Aluminum Furniture — Local services in Miami Springs

We contacted them to refinish five swivel chair frames and replace slings with new padded slings. It was suggested this would take “a few weeks”. Now approaching FOUR MONTHS later we still don’t have our chairs. Our first few inquiries two months in were ignored and we received no response. (Unlike the prompt responses when we inquired into their pricing, options and proposals). Then finally I spoke to the owner who passed me back to “Alex” suggesting this is Alex’s “side business” and not really connected to their business. “I don’t know what he’s doing with that and we have nothing to do with it” he told me. Alex continues to make failed assurances of timing estimate. Last week he said he’d try for the same week but otherwise this week. Now this week he says not possible but maybe next week. Meanwhile they have already been paid in full, by check they’ve already cashed, per their requirements. And they hold our furniture hostage at their leisure.
