I’ve visited Silk Mart Inc on NW 72nd Avenue in Miami several times over the past few years and have absolutely fallen in love with this place. While it may look like a plain warehouse at first, it’s a crafting treasure trove. The store carries an unbeatable selection of silk flowers, ribbons, baskets, party supplies, and vases—all at very competitive prices

Every time I shop there, I find unique items I didn't even know I needed—ideal for DIY décor or events. During one visit, I needed special ribbon and managed to pick up coordinating silk flowers and vases to match—everything was right there, and much cheaper than chain stores.

This place is not bad to purchase in bulk, they have pretty good prices on some stuff but the place is very very dirty, dusty and really really hot!! The owner is extremely rude; he accuses people of damaging his flowers, he is very dismissive and has no time to speak to anyone, he will hover around you like a hawk to see what you are doing, insinuating that you're either gonna steal or brake something. I called once to ask two simple questions and I was hung up on before I got the chance to ask the second question. His daughter was very rude as well; when It came time to buying the items, she just threw them all on the floor, walked over them and stepped on a few items. If I could give this place a review it would be a 0 because I didn’t even have the opportunity to go in a make my purchases. If the owner continues to have poor customer services skills this place will not survive. It’s spring break and I have my 5 year old daughter with me who is well behaved. As soon as I walked it he came and told me I couldn’t be there since I had my daughter. I drove a far distance and wasted gas to be told this. I even kindly asked why she’s well behaved and will be hand held throughout. It’s just ridiculous there’s working mothers all over town and working fathers. They need to be more open minded and open.
