This campus has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. The staff show no respect for students. They leave before their scheduled hours, they do not respond to emails, and they give the impression that they only care about collecting money—not about helping people learn.
As a 52-year-old student, my goal was to study English and move forward in this country. Instead, I found stress, indifference, and complete lack of support. What happened to me was very serious, and the silence and inaction from staff made it worse.
Reading other reviews, I see that my experience is not unique—many students are saying the exact same thing. This is a continuous problem, not just an isolated case. Something must be done to change this situation. Students should not lose their motivation, their time, and their health because of incompetence and lack of care.
This is not education—it is neglect. I will go as far as necessary to make sure this does not happen to any other student. I will share my experience everywhere so that people know the truth about...
Read moreClearly in the past 15 years they haven't learned anything! My brother is doing his admissions and the wait times to get someone on the phone is 20 min+ just to have them hang up on you, when you go in person the people they have helping students clearly are not trained at all, basic questions are beyond their abilities, the intake system (their website) to be able to get registered is horrible as it clearly lacks the ability to have proper integrations with one another and is definitely not intuitive at all. Overall Miami Dade should definitely be your last resorts because your desire to actually go to school will evaporate with all the BS. Whatever money they are getting from the city is clearly ending in the wrong places. If your kid is being dragged to school starting at Miami Dade will completely unmotivated them and give them a real reason to avoid pursuing an education. My recommendation is Broward College, and then Nova Southeastern University for anything Master level or higher. Broward college is not as...
Read moremostly good teachers, but the reason I give a 1 star is because in order for you to get your classes started it is a nightmare, misinformation all over the place the cafeteria staff knows more then the administration does... I had to go back to the school 10 TIMES in a month cause they kept losing my paperwork and not filing it... you can not call them for help cause one they don't answer or two you get a student intern that doesn't know any information about anything instead you spend 2 hours getting transferred/bounced around like a hot potato till finally someone just hangs up on you or as they say the CALL DROPPED (on a F-ing land line.. really guy come on!). My advise learn how the process works before even applying or else you will spend a lot of time fighting for...
