Title: A Culinary Delight at Casa Juancho
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Casa Juancho in Miami, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a truly memorable evening.
The first thing that caught my attention was the charming and elegant decor of Casa Juancho. The traditional Spanish ambiance, with its rustic wooden accents and dim lighting, created a cozy and intimate setting. It felt like stepping into a traditional Spanish tavern, transporting me to a different time and place.
The menu at Casa Juancho is a celebration of Spanish cuisine at its finest. From the moment I perused the extensive selection of tapas, paellas, and seafood dishes, I knew I was in for a treat. The menu showcased an impressive array of flavors and ingredients, promising a culinary adventure like no other.
The service at Casa Juancho was impeccable. The staff members were welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive, making sure that every aspect of our dining experience was taken care of. They were happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions we had, adding a personal touch to the evening.
Now, let's talk about the food. Each dish that graced our table was a masterpiece in its own right. The tapas were a delightful blend of flavors, from the perfectly seasoned patatas bravas to the tender and succulent grilled octopus. Each bite was a burst of authentic Spanish flavors that made my taste buds dance with joy.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the paella. Served in a traditional paella pan, it was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The saffron-infused rice was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful crust at the bottom known as the socarrat. The generous portions of fresh seafood and tender chicken made every bite a true delight.
To complement the meal, Casa Juancho offers an extensive wine list featuring a wide selection of Spanish wines. The knowledgeable staff was more than happy to recommend the perfect pairing for our dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The ambiance, the impeccable service, and the exquisite flavors all came together to create an unforgettable evening at Casa Juancho. It was not just a meal; it was a journey through the vibrant and rich culinary traditions of Spain.

You can get way more for your buck for far better service.
Immediately it gave me a wrong vibe because when you pull into the parking lot, it is only valet parking. I thought that would be the end of the bad service but unfortunately I was wrong. Our server was terrible. We had made a reservation for 5 people. They set 6 plates. I usually don't care about that but when main dishes average $70 pp I expect exceptional attention to detail. Not once while we were eating did he ask is if everything was ok. They sang my FIL happy birthday but our server paraded around the restaurant with the flan and coffee in hand for about 3 minutes before getting to our table. Spitting in our food while talking the entire time. He could not even play off the fact that the dessert was for our table because he took so long everyone noticed. We asked for the check and waited 10 minutes before I had to ask again. In the end, when we got our car from the valet, he opened the door for me. My husband said thank you. The valet said no problem, it will be $10. Not only did the ticket say $8 but he did not even bother closing my door.
Our waiter had the biggest attitude whenever we asked for something. When it was time to pick up, this man had the audacity to get a plate from the table and put it on top of what was remaining in the paella plate. Immediately I told him we wanted to take the rest of what was there. He said there was nothing left only a bit of rice. I said we will take it anyway. Tell me how when he comes back with a container with QUART container it was filled to the top with rice. He was so so rude. He also did not even bother to ask us about the desserts. We had to ask HIM. I cannot believe I wasted my time and money coming here.
These people are out of their minds. I love to eat GOOD food and with high prices I expect to have great service. I work too hard for my money to not be able to enjoy simple things like good food in a good environment. Y'all had one job. In Miami, there are plenty of places I can go to that will accomplish a simple request.
We will not be...
Read moreThis place is easy to find off of the street. It has "Paybyphone" street parking or restaurant valet $6 before 7pm and $7 after 7pm. I paid $5 and change for 3 hours afyer 7pm. So, you don't need to pay extra for valet unless you prefer that kind of service. It's a really nice building. You are greeted by a beautifully lit fountain near the entrance and by a maitre d. Service was efficient and food arrived fairly quickly. I would have liked a little more of a warmer Spanish style service approach. The food was tasty. We ordered a charcuterie plate which was simply beef and cheese. That's it. The spinach dish was a little bland. I ate it with the cheese and it gave it that little extra taste. The avocado tomato salad was really good. The paella was ok. It was lacking in savory flavor. The lobster was dry but good enough to try once. I don't think I will order it again. Also, very important if you decide to order the paella. If one person wants to order it and another wants to try it... make sure you express that. So you only pay $35 for the entree and $10 to share. Otherwise, they will charge you for two seperate orders. Which was our case. We had asked if it would be enough for two people and got charged for two orders. So, it came out to be $75 versus $35 plus $10. When I asked them to clear it up it was very confusing and got the deer in the head lights look. Lesson here is they will charge more if they can. I don't think it was worth the $75. Receiving the explanation was just as confusing as my explanation. Other than that everything was good enough for a one timer. Nothing to rave about unfortunately for such a nice looking restaurant. I went to please my Mom and her craving for paella. I will only go again to please her definitely not for my sake. Please go and check it out for yourself maybe you have a better experience. I usually prefer giving better reviews however I do like to keep it real. If my review has helped you in any way please follow me and like it👍 to let me know. Enjoy life no matter what the...
