Dune Our Thing, Beachwalk — Local services in Michigan City

Dune Our Thing couldn’t have been a more perfect spot for our family’s mini vaca. Nicole has thought of absolutely everything and the home, I’m convinced, is the nicest in all of the Beachwalk community. The home is so spacious, plenty of room for several families and ample space for everyone to have their own space. The interior details and finishes are pristine, updated and give an immediate sense of home and stylish comfort. All kitchen amenities are included in the gorgeous kitchen and the grill is perfect for a night of burgers and barbecue chicken. Our family enjoyed the fire pit on our first night for some S’mores and relaxing. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of fans to keep you cool on warm days. The community itself was fantastic and a welcoming environment for families. We took advantage of the golf cart to make frequent trips to the beach and pool and to just tour around the neighborhood. To have an opportunity to enjoy the beach (who knew Lake Michigan has waves), heated pool, kayaking, paddle boarding, a putting green, fishing and more gave us everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We frankly only left to visit the grocery and an occasional trip to Starbucks. Thanks so much for a lovely stay, Nicole, and we can’t wait to plan...

We had an unbelievable time at Dune our Thing! Nicole, the host, was absolutely lovely, quick to respond, and provided amazing resources for the house, activities, local attractions and more.

I've stay in a lot of vacation homes, VRBOs, and Airbnbs, but Dune our thing was perfect down to the last detail. The house was spacious, clean, well decorated with a beachy, welcoming yet sophisticated vibe, and perfectly equipped for our group. The addition of the golf cart was also perfect for taking us to the pool, beach, or visiting other houses.

We just spent a wonderful 4 days at this beautiful house, which is truly a "home away from home"! It was clean, really well equipped and very tastefully furnished. Nicole has really thought of everything (and more!) that a multi-generational family staying here could wish for. Our 4 grandchildren had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed the playground behind the house, the nearby pool and movie nights in the basement - not to mention multiple rides to the beach on the golf cart! We couldn't recommend Dune Our Thing more highly and will certainly be making a return visit....
