The Beach Hut — Restaurant in Michigan City

A great place for good food, coffee, drinks, and live music near the beach in Michigan City. I am really glad that we found this Cafe near Lake Michigan.

The location is great. It's very easy to get to from just about anywhere on the lake in Michigan City Indiana. I particularly enjoyed the sandwiches, coffee, and baked goods.

My in-laws and I made the trip to Michican City, with the intent to enjoy lake beach, visit the Sand Dunes National Park, and explore the local culture and food. The Beach Hut is such a cozy spot with a great laid-back vibe. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the menu has a nice variety of options for both light bites and hearty meals. This place has some great food and snacks while you enjoy time at the little resort. Staff is always friendly - Peter is the nicest people I've ever met.
