Michigan City Municipal Golf Course - North — Local services in Michigan City

Generally, we love to visit this course.

We know Sundays are busy, so we made a tee time at 11:56 cst.... at 11:45 they sent out a party of about 15 people (including kids) and told my husband that setting a tee time "didn't matter".

That is pretty rude. We have never been mistreated here, but now we will be delayed by a long time because this large group was not considerate of other people, and the employee was quite rude about it as well.

We are locals, we come here often, and we follow the rules and etiquette... how come they don't have to? Guess no one has to make a tee time at the North...

Well maintained fairways and greens. Rough is low so balls aren't hard to find. Sand traps are clean and smooth. The shaded teeboxes need some help, but others are in fine condition. Front 9 is mostly open and forgiving, while the back is challenging, with woods, water and lots of elevation change. It's not worth the $32 per person we paid. The course is not in good shape and they try to sell it as an "executive course." Give me a break. I can hit off of better grass in my backyard.
