We’ve now been to Trademark Ink twice—first for a piercing with Dana, and most recently for a tattoo with Tyler—and both experiences have been phenomenal. Dana and Tyler are not only incredibly skilled and talented, but also warm, professional, and dedicated to making sure their clients feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. The quality of their work is outstanding. While I only have four tattoos and a few piercings other than my ears, I’ve accompanied my son and close friends countless times for their body art. Had we discovered Trademark Ink sooner, nearly all of those tattoos would have been done by Tyler, and piercings done by Dana. Without a doubt, their work is among the best I’ve ever seen or heard of. The shop itself is spotless and professional, yet still relaxed and welcoming. From the owners—Tyler and Dana—and their family members, to the staff and even other clients, everyone exudes friendliness and support. Just yesterday, Tyler gave my daughter her first tattoo: a beautiful quarter sleeve that he designed entirely from a few reference photos—no revisions needed. The piece is deeply meaningful, and my daughter, who is not easily impressed, was absolutely thrilled with the result. Tyler executed it with precision, care, and a gentle hand. Rather than calling it painful, my daughter described the experience as only mildly irritating—she even joked that, if she weren’t worried about moving, she could have taken a nap. Where do I start!? First off their vibes are so amazing. From the time that you walk in, sit down and leave, you feel like you’re their only priority. They’re not distracted or doing other things. Their whole focus is on you!

Dana is such a gorgeous girl, and she pierces so beautifully. She gives you such a comforting feeling when you’re vulnerable and makes you feel so beautiful. Tyler has done so many pieces of artwork on me now, and I will never go anywhere else. He’s done big pieces, small pieces and cover ups. I will add pictures so you can see what wonderful work he’s done. I’m always so impressed by the work that he does. The panther is a cover up of the one on my ankle and I couldn’t have pictured anything better. Will update when my leg sleeves are finished because I’m obsessed...

Booked with Tyler a few weeks ahead and drove ~ 1.5hrs from the Chicago burbs. 2 tattoos, one artist choice for me, one grim reaper for my daughter.

Tyler worked quick, had awesome communication, great attention to detail and a soft but solid touch with the needle. Black, linework and shading are all fantastic, color is punchy and crisp. Awesome work, already talking with Tyler about the next piece I want.
