Harry E Jones Rare Coins — Local services in Middleburg Heights

I have dealt with harry jones for more than 12 years. I found him by dealing with every coin shop in the local area; who would give the most honest pricing. I went to the guy in the center of Medina. He was a rip off. If it was an NGC MS 60 coin, he called it an AU 55, 5 grades down and significantly less money. The guy in the center of Wadsworth, he did the same thing. He would call it any grade he wanted even if it was a PCGS graded coin, he would go 4 to 5 grades under and try to rip you off. The same with all the other ones, locally. 12 years ago, Harry Jones seemed honest. He paid me gray sheet which is his dealer cost according to the grade. He said that Lyle in Medina and Chuck from Chucks coin and gold exchange in Wadsworth are thieves. Recently went to Harry with graded coins. PCGS and NGC, the two finest grading companies in the world. One was an MS 60, he called it a 55 and it was a PCGS coin. The other was an AU 58, he said it looks more like an XF 45 and that was a PCGS coin. Harry has turned into what he called those other guys, a thief. Very poor. Will never do business with him...

This is a true coin collector shop…both US or foreign coins. The owner (Harry) was in the store and I could tell he is a collector at heart. I didn’t feel pressure to rush, and he was more than helpful in showing me different items and giving me time to look over his inventory.
